Even though it's considered a toxic build, the only way to win as Oni is to snowball. Infectious fright with a cooldown should be basekit for him. If Doctor can get reworked with a global static charge to give him Intel then Oni should get the same treatment. Nothing more sweaty than looking for that first M1 to start getting blood orbs.
Agreed, but i find that i dont need to slug every game with oni, getting value from hooking perks like scourge hooks or pop, and gen regression perks like ruin, jolt etc.. are a good alternative play style for oni. Especially with everyone walking around with unbreakable or a deadhard ruining your whole slug. I get 4ks with 5 gens left playing while actively hooking. I never stray away from an easy slug though.
I play oni a bunch I really think he’s in a fine spot ya it’s super brutal getting first M1 especially against survs who know this but once he’s in blood fury he definitely becomes the most lethal killer in the game

It was short because survivors give up at the first sign of resistance. In both games he had players throw in the towel early.
D3AD is really good (not denying that obviously), but don’t take the match length at face value.

Dude you are just insane with Oni! I wish I can play him one day just like you! I also want to ask you what are your settings because on my pc some maps look really dark and it is hard for me to play killer on those maps, during the day at least.
Idk what his settings are, but it's easier to see in my experience if you turn down the graphics quality. Pick anything below Ultra.
Nice video man. I am an Oni main so I recommend changing BBQ and Chili and Corrupt Intervention to Tinkerer and Pop Goes the Weasel, he is insane.

Tinkerer is bonkers good on oni, I personally use pain resonance cuts down the time of going to a gen and lets me know which one survs are working on

Distressing level 3 technically gives a slightly larger terror radius than monitor. Of course you'd get like a 50 meters terror radius using both
True, but Monitor and Abuse gives him more FOV to see the locations of other survivors as well. The other perks also contribute to getting the power as soon as possible so there really isn't a reason to use Distressing. I see your point though.

Why is it that you face almost exclusively baby’s survivors? Or do you just upload the easy ones?
He uploads his strongest matches obviously for the video and he does get tougher game on stream

Second match I get a 4 man swf being extremely toxic teabagging at gate constantly click their flashlights and then I get unessaseer messages and they braided me with insults for about 1 hour I was just laughing my head off at the shit they said it was hilarious I wish I had recorded it for youtube

Maybe it’s because I’m new to the game, but managed to achieve gold tier within my first month. However I don’t find Oni fun to play against. Almost every match I’ve had against Oni all survivors go down pretty quickly. Even top tier players. I’m not looking to be mowed down for the comment as I’m sure some will disagree or tell me to “get better”, but when I see Oni as the killer I just know it’s gonna be a frustrating match
Damn that first game was evil. Seeing this is just super unhealthy can’t even play and fun, at least those teams were a little good.😬

A month late, but Oni gets the ability to turn as if he’s lunging when he’s about to attack. It’s a flick, essentially.

Is it hard to control the oni's power? Like is it as hard as hillbilly? Cuz when i play hillbilly i can barely turn
It's very similar, you can only turn a little bit. But when you commit to the hit you can flick . If your new to killer, try and avoid oni and Billy untill you learn the basics, as they can be tricky to learn

You just downed some potatoes :D I really mean no offense, but be real here ;) You got multiple videos similar to this, I just facepalm. Attempt any of these builds at high MMR and it'll take you at least 100 matches to see something like this.
