I love the way this room turned out! Thought: when you pulled down the center shade - a print or painting or design would be a fun surprise! My favorite book, Love you forever by Robert Munich. The nursery turned out beautiful. Can't wait to see the rest of the touches you do with the red car, love that you have a piece of important and precious history to pass down to both boys.
I really live this room. The light blue color gives a calm feel. I usually do not favor plaid wallpaper but together with the board and batten and the wide window- and door frames it looks really good. Pairing the dark brown accents with the light blue was a good idea as well.
Honestly the most gorgeous nursery I have seen EVER. Awesome colors and pattern but not icky busy. Just so classic and calm and GORGEOUS Blowout on a basket comment... 🤣🤣 so true
awww its absolutely adorable and beautiful....its such a beautiful design and colour and your right it certainly does suit him...love the rich colour tones in the room...and on that note your beaming as beautiful as the room and so too Brody...my favourite reading book is actually the very hungry caterpillar as it shows colours, patterns,insects and the cycle of life too.....💙🙏🎁😍
Love the ginham. One thing I would do sooner rather than later is to fix that laundry chute. I raised three boys. And... I had an older brother that tried to talk me into going down a laundry chute. I probably would have gotten hurt badly. He was evil.
SO beautiful!! I’m designing my own nursery right now and I’m so inspired by elements of this room! I was going to paint A jungle mural on one wall, but I love the idea of being bored around the room and painting a mural on the top half, like you did with this wallpaper, love it!
Beautiful nursery! There’s lots of great baby and toddler books, my favourite is tickle time likely because our daughter is silly and it gets her laughing and laughing
The Wizard of Oz! Love the plaid and the corner with all the windows. Your curtains are lovely too. Baby Brody is adorable! All that hair! He looks like Tyler😉.
Absolutely lovely nursery Sharrah. My favorite books are the Gossie and Gertie series by Olivier Dunrae. They are super adorable and I think you would enjoy reading them to Sawyer and Brody.

Can't wait for the update. ~ Tiny Tawny Kitten A Golden Book. My "big" girl bedroom was painted in the colors on the cover. Lime green, yellow and orange (tawny). And daisy flowers, just like the cover. Gosh I REALLY Loved that book. Framing it would make my heart sing. 💕 Thanks for encouraging me to find a treasured memory.
It’s so hard to choose a favourite childrens book but I have to admit that I love “we’re going on a bear hunt” cause at the start u act it out then they begin to act it out and u can always add to it ❤
Did you know that the illustrator tried to draw a teen brother but unfortunately/fortunately he ended up looking like a dad? Which is good, because I think it's better that way. It is a very nice book.

Love it!!! I had 3 girls so we had a house full of pink! My youngest is 18 now but it is fun to see boys nurseries and get ideas for family and friends expecting boys! I love how brown is coming back in style- It was going to cost a lot to change out our old brown doors to white ones (old house with brown hollow doors) but now I am inspired by you and I will just have to figure out how to incorporate it into the decor! The Wonky Donkey book!!!!

Love the nursery and congratulations on your growing family! In our first home we had a similar laundry shoot. Loved it we just placed something heavy over it for that period of time. My fondest memory is that our oldest all on her own came up with the idea that that was how Santa got into the house 😂 Merry Christmas!

I haven't read it, but I have heard about that book and have seen sketches for it because I took a picture book-making class taught by his wife and him. I think the book wasn't even out yet at that time. I prefer their other book about a middle child, really sweet. I don't remember the title though.

I haven't read it, but I have heard about that book and have seen sketches for it because I took a picture book-making class taught by his wife and him. I think the book wasn't even out yet at that time. I prefer their other book about a middle child, really sweet. I don't remember the title though.
