I film my videos on #lumix and GoPro cameras and lenses and sometimes on an iPhone.
I've seen people walking dogs here in the Castellon area and if their dog has a pee, they use the water to wash the urine away, although most dog walkers carry their own small bottle of water for this.
The Japanese do this .
It's the law
I was mugged at knife point in Malaga way back in the ‘90s walking back to my hotel after a quiet evening watching a religious festival in the old town, not nice, put me off Spain for decades.
For balance, London and Birmingham are much more dangerous
Police always act after the horse has bolted, exactly the same here in the UK.
"my giddy aunt" is a quaint old English phrase sometimes as a precursor to an exclamation of surprise (I can just imagine Sir Ben saying something like that as he was being mugged).
The water trick is to drive away flies, my girlfriend used to do it. Andalusian almost seems a different language than standard Spanish, lol.
I think its for cats to stop them coming in your property as they see their shadow or refection to keep them out with bottle water on the corners and gate entrances
Plenoil is also on Tenerife and LaPalma, similar cost per litre to Lanzarote. I use them all the time and never had an issue with their fuel in my car. They have very clean and well maintained stations and also inexpensive self-serve car wash.
Another great update thanks ;)
There used to be a joke we heard from Aus: 'How do you know when a jet load of Poms has arrived? The whining continues after the engines stop. Seems fine to this Pom.
Barcelona is a beautiful city! Unfortunately after the news you put out, its not safe anymore. Not just BCN but almosy all major cities are not safe anymore.
To be fair if this guy had dressed like a local and had a €30 watch from Tesco he probably would have been fine.
Barcelona is a well known haven for pick pockets and street scammers. Armed robbery is pretty rare but if you're flashy enough you'll attract some sharks.
Tourists with expensive stuff are perfect targets for thieves. Most people can't afford to stay there waiting for justice or be willing to return for a trial.
At least the victim was bright enough not to get hurt and the criminal used just enough force to get their way.
Are these migrants able to pick up their full quota of duty free’s ?
I didn't understand in Salar better now xx don't speak how I learnt xx
12 dialects! Then add all the variations in Latin America! No wonder I am struggling in my travels!
Well if I heard that right, the national police will only send reinforcements at the ports but how many 'ladrones' are found there?
I live here in Spain and in the Dominican Republic, and over there I am the gringo and when I was younger and living in Belgium all Muslims were " makkaken " I think in every community you got names for outsiders !!
@@TheDirkdams Actually, "makkaken" refers to actual monkeys named "Macaque" which is ridiculously racist and comes nowhere near what "guiri" means but you being a Belgian and knowing what that that mass murderer king Leopold II did in The Congo, it doesn't surprise me that you that you thought it was on the same level. Ignorance is bliss.
Why does he always say “Qué tals?” with an s at the end?
he says "Que tal" but immediately says "stuart here" Listen to him again! Pedantic moi!
Because... he doesn't? You might want to get your ears cleansed and checked.
He does put an s at the end..
He says "Hola amigos, que tal?"
@@sheilaclancy2355 Y'all seriously need to get your ears checked out. 😂
Are the El Hierro migrant doing all inclusive or Airbnb?
All good newd then 😮
Gringo. Ditto and then some.
On my first trip to Spain many years ago (40 plus) I picked up some phrases in Andalusia - moving on to Madrid the waiter nearly died laughing when I asked for a coffee - Scots+Andalusian was clearly highly amusing!
Ha! Accents are difficult to mask, but that that isn’t a bad thing by any means. Accents are cool and sexy. Best thing to do is laugh right along with them. And keep practicing!
On more important matters, how much does root canal procedure cost in Spain, including a new crown?
I´ve had some fairly heavy dentistry here in Andalucia, but no crowns. 40 Euros a filling and expertly done.
No problem with appointments, once I turned up just before opening with a slightly broken tooth and it was smoothed off for no charge.
Likewise with an excruciating centipede bite I was seen, sorted and prescribed within half an hour, on an Easter Sunday !
I feel safer than I did in England.
Depends on who does it and where.
Our dental costs in Cuenca are about 1/10th that of USA.
@@JeffsTravels Private medicine in the states is off the scale.
