    That's a great setup you just need to make sure that you have a lot of droop that type of suspension uses a lot of droop

    Great video. I use the same ESC. You were mentioning an additional kit to finish off the rear end conversion. Do you happen to have the name or part number for that kit? I would like to secure one myself. Also, if you’re still using the same ESC’s, do you have any Settings you’d like to share?

      Sorry, I got rid of this thing shortly after watching the video's. Turns out, no matter how much I tried, I was crap at drifting.

    Great video Joe! With the anti camber kit installed can you a single rear shock like you have in the front?

      +ThreeMsRC No, it's still two. Well, in this case, four.

    Looks awesome but I feel like there is something binding in the back end of your setup doesn’t seem the wanna sway very smooth once you put it together! Angle of something off to stiff of spring or oil to think or a combo of all 3 again cool upgrade tho 🤙

    Did it work and is it worth buying

    It's very nice upgrade, you should use a super soft springs, or it just won't work when you're drifting ;)

    Hopefully you see this. I just put mine together over the weekend and I notice my shocks seemed off. There was a lot of slack an each of them. Not sure if they are supposed to be like that or not. It’s almost like the spring is too short. Did you have that problem? I haven’t seen any videos of guys assembling the shocks in this kit. Never experienced this before.

    • @scalefreakgaming
      @scalefreakgaming  4 роки тому

      What does slack mean? As in the piston moves pretty freely?

    • @NastySteve
      @NastySteve 4 роки тому +1

      Scale Freak sorry let me clarify. I can pull the piston rod out until it bottoms out. I have to pre load the spring just to eliminate the gap that’s left. It’s like either the piston shafts are too long or the spring is too short.

    • @scalefreakgaming
      @scalefreakgaming  4 роки тому

      Normally, the shaft if going to be longer than the spring. You can set the pre-load to take that up. But you can also set the droop on the arm of the car to not extend that far.

      I’m not sure. I’m so far out of the drift stuff now. I haven’t kept up with their offerings any more. I was REALLY bad at drifting.

    And being a UA-cam content creator you should have pointed that out and figured what was going on right in the video I noticed it right way when you went to move it because someone could be watching and look past that because you did in your video and think it find but still have a hard time drifting because there assembly was not 100%

      Well...that's the thing... I'm not sure.
      I sort of fell for the hype and thought it would make me a better drifter. Because candidly...I'm crap at it.
      Instead, it make the car undriveable (for me), and untuneable (for Dave). So...I just sold everything when I realized that drifting was not for me.

      This is a super old video too. This was back when the D4 first came out.
      The funny thing about the D4 was that no two were tuned the same. We had 4 of them, and they all needed to be tuned different to get the same result. It was a tricky chassis
