The hospital billing department didn’t submit my bill in a timely manner - they also charged me two times for going and two times for my mri which I already paid for. - also the billing department hasn’t been calling me back & I have been leaving voicemails. I cannot afford this payment.
Keep the proof that you paid. If they ever do come after you for it you can prove in a court that it’s already been paid
@@debtbrief I have the proof I paid for it - and the proof they didn’t send if in a timely manner & phone records of me calling asking about my hospitals bill

I am not a credit repair specialist and instead focus only on the legal aspect of debt collection. So I’m not the best person to answer that question. Hopefully someone else here has a good answer for you.

You call your insurance company and try to convince them to pay. Usually there is some error or misunderstanding. You just need to take the initiative to sort that out so they can pay you back if you have to pay the bill to avoid court
