The most captivating powerhouse fragrance I ever owned was Bal A Versailles. I bought my first bottle in 1973 when an elegant customer at a perfume counter was wearing it (and buying another bottle). Nothing else like it but, unfortunately, newer formulations have lost the magic.
Hi Gabby. Red Door is my daughter’s only perfume that is her Signature perfume and she learned about it when she was a teenager and that I owned and wore when she was a teenager. She is a smart young lady now and has good taste. I am glad, Gabby, that you like it too. You have good taste, and you are smart lady too. Take Care. P.S. I just bought Ungaro Diva, current formulation, and I’m really enjoying it. That’s fairly powerhouse for me, but it might be a later life gateway for me because now I’m thinking about Coco and Paloma Picasso.
My power house journey started with Opium in my teens followed by DemiJour by Houbigant then Amarige and then Shalimar aling with all it's flankers. I'm not sure I have a signature any more but my son always buys me Amarige or Shalimar.....I guess to him that's the smell of Mum.
