'David Bowie had a electronic dog and was wearing a blue dress' I remember seeing as a kid but no one I know remembered seeing it. I thought I was going crazy. Finally found it. I think he was pulling the dog around on a leash and it had wheels.
You are correct about the dog. I was 22 when this aired.....I remember my father calling Bowie "a goddamn 3 dollar bill" after watching it. Funny shit.

That TV pupper was in the David Bowie IS exhibition. I had no idea where it came from when I encountered it there & I often forget about it almost entirely nowadays, but on the rare days it pops up again I get to relive having seen it IRL and that is a wonderful thing indeed.

Me and 5-6 friends were tripping on acid the night this came on. Klaus and Joey were really freaking us out! It looked like they were coming out of the TV screen and into our room! Good times! Hey - I remember, and I'm still kicking! Peace!

Today was done by Bowie many years before, trouble with today if you have an opinion you are silenced, Bowie opened the debate.
That Brit can pretty much do anything he put his mind to! I don't think No was in his vocabulary and he loved every minute. I thought the guy in the dark dress was Eno at first.
I've never seen this video and cannot thank you enough. It seems so weird missing someone I never paid much attention to til after his death, and in my case the Pandemic.

Bottom line Star Struck Klaus was taken advantage of by Bowie for SNL who looted his personae and costumes....
