I’ve actually seen a video of a bunch of maiko dancing at a shrine and when they all bowed at the beginning of the maiko’s bira kanzashi fell out of her hair lol she recovered quickly and placed it back in place in an instant, it was quite cute and endearing

No, she went on to become a geiko, but because knee problems she left.
