They are what they are. No autotune no tricks. All 3 of them have a large vocal range. The use some backing trakcs for keyboards or aditional effects or guitars. But it's all made by them. All 3 or them play piano also. As of today they are 19, 21 and 23 years old. They have almost 50 originals and not one of them is a bad song.

The Warning for me reminds me when i was discovering The Police, Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd (until znd inclufing The Wall) and Vangelis back in the late 80s/early 90s, no matter how much more newer songs/music i discovered from them, all were good, none where bad. The Warning is giving me the same experience. It is almost intimidating how good they are.

So, no autotune. All three ladies are bonafide 2nd Altos. Dany has some extra topside range that gets higher and higher as her voice is continuing to develop. We have seen some previews of new music for their soon to be released new album where Dany is hitting an F5. The band frequently double whoever is singing lead, usually an octave below the main melody but sometimes an octave above, to thicken the sound. Because they are a three piece they use every technique and tool to fill out and create a wall of sound. In this song, the drummer (Pau) sings the lower octave for most of the song, but if you look closely, the bassist (Ale) takes that over at points during the song.
Subbing in hope you will explore more of The Warning.

Their song, "DISCIPLE", provides an opportunity to compare the vocals of Dany (guitar) and Pau (drums) as they trade off lead vocals. While I prefer the live concert recording, the official music video is also great and will make it easier to know which sister is singing each part.

@@LegacyStudio If you want some direction, we need to know which way to point you. The ladies have a variety of styles and flavors and I am not familiar with what you enjoy.
The one constant you will hear from everyone is watch the live videos. Their official videos aren't bad at all, but the band (and the songs) are built to be performed in front of audiences. Their stage presence and connection with the crowd just give everything a better flavor.
I will suggest that you stick with more recent material / performances for at least a few more videos. The Warning have a huge amount of history and a lot of it is available on UA-cam. But I think it's better when you familiarize yourself with the band now, before you go back and see where they came from. IMHO it gives those earlier shows more meaning when you already know what they lead to.

Dany (guitar) works hard to get the emotion correct that Pau (drums) was experiencing when she wrote this song... it is about a childhood friendship breaking up...
basically the story is that someone said something like, "come hang out with us. that band thing won't go anywhere. why are you wasting your time?" well, you can imagine how that went over... TWA like to joke that the moral of the story is "Don't upset Pau or you may be memorialized in a song" 😹

Yes, to follow up on that comment about not upsetting Pau: The Warning was getting criticisms from some media outlets in Mexico because they had no songs in Spanish. “The Warning” are from Monterrey, Mexico, a power trio of sisters - Daniela "Dany“ (vocals, guitars, piano), Paulina "Pau" (drums, vocals, piano) and Alejandra "Ale" Villarreal (bass, piano, backing vocals) They are a great live band that has opened for Muse, Halestorm, Guns and Roses, and The Foo Fighters. The Warning also worked with Alessia Cara to cover Enter Sandman for the Blacklist album; Metallica made it the #1 song on the album. They performed on the 2023 VMA Extended Stage. They have toured Canada, USA, Mexico, South America and Europe. They will be playing Shiprocked and Wacken Open Air in 2024. Any song from the Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 08/29/2022 concert would be a great song to react to; I love Animosity and thank you for the reaction, for an acoustic try Revenant. As for the technical breakdown of the voices and more Someone from The Warning Army (TWA) will help you with that. They will be here soon. Thank you, DPA ⚡🤘🔥 New Sub and I liked this for you.

It is Alejandra, the bassist player, who is singing the lower notes. Her natural singing voice is on the lower scales (oronically as her speaking voice is very soft) but she can also reach higher notes as seen in their performance of their song "More" at the MTV MVA last Setember. The bassist herself was only 17 when this concert happened. Yesterday was her 19th birthday. So young yet so crazy talented, just like her sisters.

I honestly believe The Warning will single-handedly bring rock music back to main stream status. Yes, there are other good rock bands out there but none of them seem to have that “it” factor of which The Warning obviously have. I say this because I personally know of several people who have never liked rock music, or even considered listening to it, end up liking and following The Warning.
To date I have had the great honor of meeting them via meet and greets twice, as well as enjoying their performances live. Even this early in their careers (if you can call 10 years performing and 3 full albums as early) they are by far the best live band I have ever seen, and believe me, I have seen many of the greats in my time. It is an experience I suggest all who love music of any form to do if at all possible.
In my 64 years of life I have never been so into a band. I joined their Patreon page within the first hour of its creation and have been saying for many years now, that they would one day be recognized world wide. I fully expect them to eventually gain the status of the greatest power trio of all time, selling out the biggest venues, arenas and stadiums. They will, without doubt, end up being invited to headline the most prestigious music festivals in the world.
If you continue down this rabbit hole I guarantee you will not be disappointed as they have 49 original songs in their collection, being found in 3 full albums, 1 EP and two stand alone singles, 2 yet to be officially released (premiered recently in concert) plus a reimagined rendition of Metallicas Enter Sandman, created as a collaboration with Canadian pop star Alessia Cara exclusively for Metallicas BlackList album. Choose any one of their songs and you will quickly discover they seem incapable of putting out a bad song.
    LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!

It will leave you speechless with such musical quality, with such good hard rock that corresponds to the 3rd. album released by TW called "Error" and also something from their previous album that is a gem, a masterpiece, its tremendous concept album called
    "Queen Of The Murder Scene"
and of course its live version is also better.
The details of all this will be shown to you as the rest of the TWArmy tells you in more detail.

    *a little history:*
many of us (shout out to TWA aka The Warning Army!) have been following DPA/TW (Dany, Pau [like "POW!"], and Ale [like "Ah leh"] aka "The Warning"), three sisters from Monterrey Mexico, since or before their first videos as a band started to hit the streams back in 2012... they are, to many of us, like daughters, nieces, or grand-daughters...
in 2014 a video of them doing a cover of Metallica's *Enter Sandman* from the "Black" album went viral... they were 14 (Dany), 12 (Pau), and 9 (Ale) years old at the time the video was uploaded to YT because it was too big to email to their grandparents and other family members... they went on vacation for a couple of weeks and came back to a viral video with their father's phone blowing up from all the notifications coming in... they did a few other covers but were also writing their own music, as well... they decided pretty early to not become known as a cover band... so they started releasing their own music...
in 2021, DPA/TW answered a call from Metallica to take a song, any song, from the "Black" album, twist it around, upside down, and backward... keep the lyrics but make it something else... DPA/TW teamed up with Alessia Cara, a Canadian Pop and R&B artist, to reimagine *Enter Sandman* as a more haunting, eerie, and dark lullaby than the metal original... they did this in 10 days, during Covid, with Alessia working from remote in Canada... today, Nov 2023, there are four renditions of *Enter Sandman* done by DPA/TW... the original true cover that went viral, the OMV of the reimagined with Alessia, DPA/TW playing it live in concert, and the latest one with an added 10-piece string section accompanying in concert... all of the concert renditions somehow come out even darker and more foreboding, bringing almost constant chills to some fans when they hear or experience it...
DPA/TW started with music at a very young age... like 3 and 5 for Pau (drums) and Dany (guitar)... Ale (bass) wasn't even born yet... they started with piano and classical music... Ale also started on piano when she was old enough... as a family, they used to watch concerts on TV together... music has always been a part of their lives and they are influenced by many bands from years past... then came the game, Rock Band, which Dany and Pau played all the time with Ale watching and clapping along...
Pau gravitated to the drums and Dany the guitar... Ale chose the bass even though she didn't know what it was at first... the bass was Ale's second choice for an instrument... originally she wanted to play the harp... they couldn't find anyone to teach her harp, though, so the bass it is, to everyone's delight! her original 4-string bass was a 1/2 size bass which was quite big for her... later she went to a 3/4 size 4-string bass... today, Ale has several bass guitars but she mostly plays her Specter 5-string... since she was 15 years old, Ale is a Specter Featured Artist... her Specter bass has a 35" neck on it and the coloring on the body is named "Ale's Inferno"... not long after Ale started playing the bass, the girls realized they had all they needed to form a band and here we are, today...
Pau is a powerful force behind her drums... in her younger days, she was likened to "Animal", the drummer on The Muppets... she put her entire body into every stroke... it was quite joyful watching her in action... she has refined her form in recent times but she still has a powerful swing and a much stronger sound... some like to say that "she beats her drums like they owe her money!" LOL since she has refined her form, she also doesn't break as many sticks as she used to... when she did break one, she seamlessly replaced it without losing a beat and many times no one ever even noticed... pure professionalism, there... in one of their interviews, Pau comments about having been playing the drums for 13 years... that was two years ago so she has 15 years under her belt, now... Pau also takes lead vocals on several songs while she is playing her drums... there are not very many singing drummers in the world, today... she does aerobic exercises and running while singing to keep up her stamina and breath control... she's been singing while playing the drums since her early years... you can find videos of Pau doing drum covers when she is like 8 or 9 years old...
Dany is a goofball and total guitar nerd... she has numerous guitars in her arsenal... PRS, Rick Toon Spearfish, Manson, Gibson Explorer (gift from Lzzy Hale of Halestorm), and more recently, a mustard yellow Manson was given to her by Matt Bellamy of Muse, one of the band's bigger influences... DPA/TW have covered several of Muse's songs and more recently they have opened for Muse in Mexico and the UK numerous times... hearing Dany make her Mansons sing is quite the treat... especially when seeing them live... Dany is also the main lead singer for the group... she has quite a range (one vocal coach says Dany can hit D5) and can growl or put gravel in her tone when needed... she easily expresses emotions with her voice and her facial expressions drive it all home while she is singing...
Ale and Dany both use Orange Amps to drive their sound... the three of them, together, create a huge wall of sound that flat out pummels you when you see them live...
today the girls are 23 (Dany - Jan 30 2000), 21 (Pau - Feb 5 2002), and 19 (Ale - Dec 13 2004)... they have just released the full concert they did at the Teatro Metropolitan (Metropolitan Theater) in CDMX (Mexico City) back in Aug 2022... Mexico City (2240m, 7350ft) is higher in altitude than Denver, Colorado (1609m, 5280ft)! certainly higher than their home town of Monterrey, Mexico (540m, 1770ft)... this is mentioned because of the altitude and thin air... when doing strenuous activities, you need more air... in some of their early concerts, you can tell the altitude catches them out a bit... you can find their recent Aug 2022 concert on DPA/TW's YT Videos page as individual videos of the songs or as one video of the entire concert with opening and closing BTS (behind the scenes) added... they may also have a playlist of the individuals so they can be viewed in proper setlist order... the Met Theater in CDMX holds like 3500 and sold out both nights they played (Aug 26th and 29th)...
some huge milestones took place at the 2023 MTV VMAs... 1) The Warning were invited to play two of their songs on the Extended Stage... 2) they were the only ones to play that were not nominated for anything... 3) they are the first Mexican band to perform at the MTV VMAs... those are all quite the achievements! for the VMAs performance, there were four takes shot... two 45 second ones for broadcast and two full length ones for each of their songs, *MORE* and *Evolve* which MTV has posted to their YT channel... DPA/TW have a working relationship with Pepsi in Mexico and have shot several commercials for them... this relationship plus being signed with Lava helped greatly with this milestone in their career, i'm sure...
additionally, this summer (of 2023), they were the first Mexican band to play "Rock am Ring" and "Rock im Park" in Germany in 20 years... they have also been invited to play at the 2024 Wacken Open Air metal festival which is also held in Germany... currently they are completing their fourth album and finishing up their "Error" World Tour which has taken them all over the Americas, the UK, and Europe...
i still can't believe it has been 10 years! it seems like only yesterday i was watching a very young Pau beating her drums into submission and then seeing videos of all three of them playing together as they started their journey...
the rabbit hole is deep and quite enjoyable! come on in, there's plenty of room for more! 😹

It's funny you should Guitar Hero, they got interested in music by playing Rock Band. They are simply amazing as sisters they've been together for like ten years now and have three full albums. Check out their three versions of Enter Sandman starting with the 2014 video that started it all for them, then the official music video with Canadian singer Alessia Cara which was the opening track on Metallica's anniversary Blacklist album and then the live version from this same show at Teatro Metropolitan. Other songs I recommend from this show are Z and Disciple (really anything from this concert is amazing). Check the song Evolve either the official video or the performance at MTV VMAs. A little info about the girls…
They are 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico.
They fell in love with rock music when their parents bought them the video game “Rock-band”. That’s how everything started.
The band just celebrated their 10th year anniversary.

    She is 23 years old.
She plays piano and saxophone 🎷.

She just started a collection of pictures of herself next to fire extinguishers🧯 from all over the world.

She is the lead singer in many of their songs.
NEVER tell her in the “meet and greets” that she is short person, she’ll get mad.

Welcome to the world of The Warning. Three sisters from Monterrey Mexico (Ale (AH-lay), bass, age 19. Pau (as in POWer), drums, age 21. Dany, guitar, 23). There is a ton to like.
All three were trained on classical piano. All three sing. Usually the drummer will sing 3rds, 5ths, and even 9ths. The low octave is usually sung by the youngest sister and bass player. But all of them can sing lead, and all of them pass harmonies around. They even will switch from show to show.
Their magic sauce is playing live. Anything from this Teatro concert is fantastic. Disciple would be a great second choice.
They recently played on the MTV VMAs. The two videos from this are fantastic. MORE, and Evolve.
If you want to see them a few years ago, try the TedX talk they gave in 2017. This performance hooked many of us old rockers on this band.
There is also a three video series so you can see how far they have come. The Warning have a wonderful relationship with Metallica’s Enter Sandman.
    1) They did a video cover in their basement when they were 14, 12, and 9 that their father uploaded to UA-cam for the grandparents to see. Start here.
    2) Metallica invited Alessia Cara to participate in the Blacklist 30th Anniversary album. Alessia’a team contacted The Warning and the two groups wrote, recorded, and produced an entirely new version of Sandman in only ten days that ended up being the lead track on Metallica’s anniversary album. The official music video for that is a great second video.
    3) The Warning then did their Sandman version at the same Teatro Metropolitan concert you have been watching. This live performance is epic.

Recently we had a bit of drama because I picked the wrong video to react to for a song and a rather large community became rather dissatisfied with me. We solved that by creating a voting system on our Discord where one person can suggest their song I should check out and include the link to the video they thought the community would like. Then the community can go and vote up that suggestion so I can get it right the first time... I am asking everyone to help us out with that because I would hate to make that mistake again. I have a video with how to use the voting system here, ua-cam.com/video/lREW0i1KNpk/v-deo.html

They seldom use vocal backing tracks. 99% of what you hear vocally is done by them live.
Of course they use backing tracks for sirens, screams or things like that.
They also use a backing track for piano since they haven’t brought keyboards with them on the road for years.
They will use a backing rhythm guitar track occasionally to fill out the sound if Dany’s doing a solo or other lead part but not as much as you might think.

They can all reach the low notes, both the bass player and drummer do lower and higher backups. I think that Pau's mic is very compressed for this song, giving it that far-away feeling, and that makes it sound a bit robotic possibly. They have another song called 'Dull Knives' and I think she also has a lot of compression on her mic in that too. But you will soon find out how powerful/loud and on-pitch Pau can be while playing the drums. I'm sure it's already been said... but she runs on a treadmill while singing to be able to play and sing. Some have speculated that she perhaps has a third lung that none of us know about as her performance is almost superhuman at times. They are all great. The three of them are trained on classical music, singing and their own instruments (the bassist has perfect pitch and tempo)
guitarrist has the wider spectrum on vocal range... and she manages both ends with ease
bassist uses the lower end range on the harmonies (there are a couple of songs where she goes up, but she usually goes down)
drummer usually goes high since is easier to go up than down while seated. But she can go up and down on her range with ease too
They're sisters... so their voices are alike and easy to mesh on harmonies and chorus

Yes, they use Ableton to trigger backing tracks of them, click tracks, multimedia, but no tuning or pitch correction. Lots of acoustic versions you can sample. Best Power Trio today. 🔥🤘 #NumberlyGarfs

Its funny that you mention Guitar Hero because the older 2 sisters picked up guitar & drums when their dad bought Rock Band around 2008. They were 8, 6 & 3 then. Within 7 years they had their 1st song, Free Falling, on Rock Band 4 🤯
Here is a video diary by Ellen, who was instrumental in sending the sisters to Berklee in 2015, where at the 9:00 mark you can see them visiting Harmonix offices in Boston.
    ua-cam.com/video/3eV1VGel4lE/v-deo.html
The lower harmony is done by the bassist, Alejandra or Ale who is the youngest & tallest. She also has a very good mid range voice and a delightful falsetto.
Paulina or Pau, the drummer & the middle sister, sings from lower mid range upwards with various intensities of power.
Daniela or Dany, the eldest sibling & guitarist cum lead singer is from mid range to very high range. Quite often she alternates with Pau on different scales.
Since all of them are excellent singers harmony is The Warning's 4th instrument.
As suggested by The Warning Army you can react next to Dust to Dust or Disciple from this same concert at Teatro Metropolitan on 29th August 2022.
And to complete your The Warning experience you should review their lyrics because they happen to be one of the most intellectual bands to emerge in past few decades. Through their insightful commentary on today's society The Warning have brought back the intelligence of classic rock. The drummer writes most of their songs - a dark metaphorical poet who is almost Dylanesque in profundity & next to Roger Waters in darkness.
Animosity was written by Pau when a close childhood friend left her after she got busy with the band. Dany has to make sure that she emotes her sister's angst & frustration while singing this song. As you noticed her enunciation is absolutely on point.
The band celebrated their 1st decade recently. So dive into their rabbit hole that extends to their classical piano playing days as 6 to 8 year olds more than a decade back.

What we like about these gals? 😆Well, do you have a minute? Aside from the fact that they're great musicians, they are also amazing, down to earth people, with very likeable personalities. They actually decided they wanted to become musicians when they played the game Rockband when they were little, and they have two songs on Rockband now, if I'm not mistaken. They went viral with a cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman, 9 years ago when they were 9 (Alejandra, bass), 12 (Paulina, drums), and 14 (Daniela, guitar/main vocals). They all can sing though. A few years ago, they did a reimagining of Enter Sandman, which is the first track on Metallica's 30th anniversary album, the Blacklist. They have made a couple of great covers, and a lot of even greater originals. They have released three albums, the second being a concept album called Queen of the Murder Scene, which is amazing, the title track is one of my absolute favorites by them. As for what to check out, just about anything really, although I would highly recommend the Teatro Metropolitan performance from last year, to say that it's good would be an understatement. Their MTV VMA's performance of their songs More and Evolve kicks ass, they really showed MTV how it's done, especially with Evolve, another one of my favorites.

    ANIMOSITY
Songwriters: Paulina Villarreal / Alejandra Villarreal / Daniela Villarreal
    I've already collapsed
So I'll just drown my sorrows in a nonexistent world
I don't know what is worse
The utter waste of time or the eroding of my mind
    Alive means to be dead
    A bullet to the head
    The guilt faded away
The anger has subsided, yet its shadow still remains
    I always gave too much
    It was never enough
Get dressed in black and mourn again
Fake funerals for all my friends
'Cause I can't let it go
No, I won't let it go
    It's killing me again
I replay it in my head when I'm alone
I hope that you're alone now
    It's not me, it's you
The one who never got a clue
    Drown in your guilt
If karma doesn't hit you, then I will
You ask me how I've been
I paint a smile over my face and act like nothing's wrong
    Your pity party's fake
And now I am reminded why I should've kept away
I hope to God you know
This smile is just for show
Get dressed in black and mourn again
Fake funerals for all my friends
'Cause I can't let it go
No, I won't let it go
    It's killing me again
I replay it in my head when I'm alone
I hope that you're alone now
    It's not me, it's you
The one who never got a clue
    Drown in your guilt
If karma doesn't hit you, then I will
Mayday, mayday, this ship is going down
    Lost inside my thoughts again
    Living hollow to pretend
Mayday, mayday, this ship is going down
Bury the truth of the lie you created
Bury yourself and remember me when you're alone
Mayday, mayday, this ship is going down
    It's killing me again
I replay it in my head when I'm alone
I hope that you're alone now
    It's not me, it's you
The one who never got a clue
    Drown in your guilt
If karma doesn't hit you, then I will

Ya ! You have started down the rabbit hole . If you like harmonys then you will for sure love their version of Enter sand man that they did for the Metallica black list album ..
They play it live in the same concert ,teatro metropolitan.
Apparently they put this version together in 8 days to make the deadline for the album.
Its brilliant and the harmonys will blow you away . Pau ,the drummer, sings and play drums like youve never seen before.
Continue down the rabbit hole, the earning doesnt hsve any bad songs.
Most reactors will say yep, this is my favorite song from the warning, until they hear they next one lol ..
Fyi , Aleon bass is low low tone voice you hear.
Dany and pau will sound like they have a similar singing voice but after a few songs you will start to be able to distinguish them apart very easily.
They are classicly trained, Danys voice is deep but still very feminine. Perfect for the front lead singer and pau on drums sings backup and lead vocal on some songs ..paus singing voice is the most beautiful and unique singer ive ever heard.
Dany and pau both bring alot of emotion into what they are singing. As you can tell they are my favorite rock band.

Nice Reaction! It's funny you mentioned the Rock Band Video Game. These young ladies played that as kids (and loved it!) and that is where they got the idea to play other instruments (they all 3 learned piano young) and the idea to play together. They have 2 The Warning songs on Rock Band 4.

Ale on bass does most of the low range backup. She has the widest range and perfect pitch as well. The drummer Pau(pow) bounces up and down opposite of Dani the lead singer. The backing tracks also may contain the male studio vocal tracks.
