On my 4th watch. This is the best live performance of YOYOKA thus far. The band is totally pro level, YOYOKA is totally driving the bus. We know YOYOKA does not like attention but acknowledges the accolades at the end and then comes out to talk to the audience like no big deal. So humble. Seeing the band back up and allow her the spotlight is so satisfying. My new favorite

The joyful expectation of the crowd, many seemingly knowing her name already, the heartfelt cheering her up, for us, a decent number of music lovers and connaisseurs (some quite proud of their acquired taste), it is so reassuring that what we raved about for so long is getting broader, and broader acknowledgement. We saw the ripples that are now about to make waves and big splashes. Actually, it's nearly a bit moving, and by God, Yoyoka knows how to play those drums.

I’m always impressed with Yoyokas demeanor and how she carries herself on stage and amongst her peers. My deepest hope for Yoyoka is that she continues to grow and thrive in the world of music and performance. Just 1 degree of separation from The Guvnor himself. I'm sure Mr. Beck would have enjoyed Yoyoka's performance. Starting back in the 90s with Jennifer Batten, he had at least 1 or more female bandmates like Tal Wilkenfeld, Rhonda Smith and his "Loud Hailer" album had a female duo for rhythm guitar & lead vocals. Since Narada wrote and drummed the original "Led Boots", his cheering on of Yoyoka is especially validating. Great performance!
Good work playing that giant kit as well that’s really difficult when your not used to a big kit. Word up always impressed by something every time yoyoka!
@@andrewplumb6544 yeah I’ve heard her playing with that Group she’s always impressive I’m just saying wait til she’s 18 or 19 and she’s got some more years under her belt and really starts to develop that sound is all. Most importantly and impressive is she knows how to groove at a young age. Either ya are born with it or ya really aren’t she’s got it cus she’s a giant sponge for drummers feels, her ears are great and her brain retention and speed learning is quite incredible. She’s only 14 or so, just let her do what she wants to do and she’ll be fine. I don’t want her to burn out or get too used to making 500 bucks when she does a live UA-cam video playing songs for people but if you have a following and has been a prodigy as a UA-cam phenomenon def utilize it. It’s a new generation for musicians and she hit right at the right time and it’s kinda an unrealistic thing as well for most players that are putting in tons gig hours too no matter what level your at. She’s doing all things right with the perks of getting in on that and she constantly delivers and is playing the spectrum of musical avenues, gigs at a young age, utilizing brand new technological approaches etc. she’s humble as well and I hope she stays that way i assume she will and where her family has taught her too.
Great job Yoyoka. I have no doubt that you’ll be excellent in anything you put your mind in to. And your English is improving in an astronomical pace. Kudos. I just hope you do pace yourself and not run yourself ragged. Gotta take care of your health, first and foremost. The gigs will be there even after you take a break. You’re that good. Btw, I was late on your livestream and really loved that you take requests of songs you haven’t heard or done before and do an impromptu cover. Great job and thank you for meeting the challenge.
