Travis AFB: KC-10 Extender Tour!

And here it is: the reason for my trip to San Francisco was for a base visit to Travis Air Force Base!
Part of this visit includes some very special tours of some of the aircraft of the 60th Air Mobility Wing. The first aircraft we tour is a KC-10 Extender (87-0123). Hope you like it! & don't forget to comment, rate & subscribe!

This aircraft just flew over my house in Scotland. I identified it on Flightradar24 and it was nice to have a DC10 come over I didn’t think I’d ever see one again.

Very Nice! It's a complete video - all bases covered (no pun intended ). Outside, inside and then the -10 in motion after being inside of it! That in itself is rare. And the walk around - very detailed. A fine production! Loved the DC-10 when it went into service in 1971 with American and was glad the U.S.A.F. picked it as a tanker so it can be seen into the future. Thanks for the thought and effort on the subject matter.

The KC-10 did not enter into service until July 12th, 1980.
