I've got the moment 4 update, but, Copilot just plain doesn't exist. It's not in the registry and doesn't show up in Vivetool. Got to be honest though, it is something I doubt I'd use and I'd probably turn it off if it did pop up. I think I'll just leave it at that. Everything else works.
I had the Copilot since last week, was working fine, but for some reason it was gone!, I really don't know why, registry didn't do anything, What gave it back was that ViveTool command you said. Thanks!
I followed it closely step-by step, but nothing worked for my. Unfortunately. Even the shortcut step launches the entire browser, instead of showing Copilot in the side panel. I think I will have to live with it until the next major Windows is released. Thank you for making the video anyways, it didn't fix my problem but might have helped someone else.
Copilot will be good for some people but for me the fact that the uninstall feature being turned off is the biggest problem for me. and for those users that are on windows 11 home I am guessing the only way for them to get rid of copilot if they want to they would have to go the registry edit path if they are on pro they can us GPedit to get rid of it. for me using these what are know as AI which really is only Machine learning not a true artificial Intelligence that can think at a human level and go past it's programing. these things just make us humans less, less intelligent, and more lazy mainly because we do not have to think or even really try to doing anything when using these systems. I actually like your videos and this one as well I just had to offer my two cents on this subject.
Welcome to Microsoft, how can we collect your data today? The missing uninstall button or disabled uninstall button is nothing new, Microsoft use that trick all the time. Thats why i never install it from the start. Simple logic, if its installed its never removed fully even if you use MS own way to do it. If you refuse the install and never allow it the bloat can never be installed and it cant install anything that will be permanent. I have my long list of programs that i have to rip out with a rusty pair of scissors every time i install windows, i have to hack them out, rip them out, bypass trusted installer and rip them out, burn them and kill them, delete them and banish them to a very hot place and use MS own methods for a rare few to remove them from my hardware that i payed cold cash for. Im not waiting for Microsoft to "grant me their service" and fix the issues (like enable the uninstall button..), i do it myself with any method that will do the job.

i tried few videos but this is the only that worked for me. i tried your registry method to show copilot button and it worked! But after update it disappeared. i wonder whats wrong?
When you change regs it's common to have them set to default upon updates. Basically if you depend on regs to customize your pc, you'd have to do it over after pretty much all updates. But I guess this will probably fixed over the upcoming updates
I got it as soon as I updated a new laptop at the beginning of Sept. ( I have been an insider for years). I don't know when it happened but the icon disappeared a few days ago. I don't know exactly when because I rarely bother with it. I noticed though that just holding down the windows key and pressing C starts it. I am wondering if I have had an update which has got rid. I prefer it this way so I hope it doesn't come back. After experimenting with it today it is getting better. When I first got it it gave lots of wrong answers mainly to do with my location in the UK. They were at first were only US related. One instance was it gave the wrong time which was probably somewhere in the US. .
