Life's weird. I have just spent 2 hours stripping down and sanding an old pine bed someone had thrown out. Coming in for a break, and your sanding as well, brilliant. (I forgot the mask while sanding by the way).

I love it when my neighbors throw out wood. I have a 12 person kitchen table my neighbors threw out. I can't tell you how many places I can find that wood in my house and work shop.

Shopsmith is a great tool. You can buy them used cheap. They are built to last & have literally endlessly wood working tasks. I have a Mark 500 & a 510. Does the 520 upgrade make a big difference as far as accuracy on fence?

In comparison to the 500, I was told it's night and day. They were right. I can't comment on the 510 too much since I never had experience with one

@@thebeggarswoodshop8756 for guys like us will little shops, it’s the best solution IMO. 510 is a huge step forward, bigger table, sanding disk vacuum attachment & the fence is much better, you still have to check it but a big step up. Thanks for the reply!!!!

I do not like or use the accessory self because my legs run into it.

Thank you for the feedback. I try to find a balance but don't always do it well.
