@@harsh-rules Hindrances only apply to LOS passing THROUGH a hex, not INTO it, so the woods terrain type is indeed an obstacle and not a hindrance. Also, at 10:05: "You only conduct one impact roll on the terrain." That's not quite right. You only conduct one impact roll on the VACANT hexes. The impact roll on occupied hexes affects both the terrain, and the unit(s) in those hexes. And, at 11:20: impact rolls on occupied hexes are made one hex at a time in the order chosen by the attacking player.

It hinders shots going into a woods hex. It blocks LOS going through a woods hex.
