Thank you! THE “Industry” standard for game rules presentation. It is the HARSH STANDARD! Game makers should consider it a privilege for you to feature their games and PAY YOU! One tiny error in your slide titled “Offensive Movement Types (Continued)”: you state CORRECTLY at 18:34 that the disengaging RP unit “cannot” move into the hex the OP entered from, but your slide states they“can” do so. Is it possible to add some overlay text box or other to show correctly? Keep up the GREAT and laborious work! We simply expect nothing but the HARSH Standard from you!
Clarification on Future Offensive Card to win Initiative, it's an event play but it must be a Military (Black) EC Play, you would not be allowed to play Political or Resource cards as events to win initiative.
Air and Carrier units are allowed to cover landings in case they become battle hexes. Since Hollandia became a battle hex the 5AF that was assigned to cover the landing is now participating in the battle at range.
Question: in the example, does the interception of the US carrier negate the battle hex between the cag and the Japanese air unit? If not, how could the US carrier survive the engagement with the BB?
The rules cover this situation. The Battle Hex is not negated, it's still declared and the Japanese air unit is stuck in that Battle even though no combat will happen now since Yamato ENTERED the new battle hex. The rules specify that because a reaction unit ENTERED the new Battle Hex the CV Enterprise is now forced to SWITCH to the Battle hex it is IN (Hollandia) instead of the original one it was participating at range (Biak). In terms of surviving the engagement keep in mind these counters represent fleets and task forces. It's not just one Battleship (Yamato) vs the Carrier (Enterprise). These are two task forces and the type and name is simply a representative capital ship in the fleet and whether or not it has an air group. The US carrier unit has accompanying cruisers and destroyers as escorts and Yamato similarly has other ships in its fleet as well. It's true that because it is IN the battle hex The Enterprise task force is vulnerable to damage from the Yamato Task Force. See Ben's other videos for more detail on combat.
Thank you. Again you are absolutely the best rules breakdown on UA-cam.

Thanks, Eddy! I'll look into how to display a correction.
Series continues to be fantastic! Clarification: it is only Amphibious Assault movement that is eligible for a Special Reaction.
Picked up the game in the last week thanks to your videos
Step 1: Also activate Offensive Event bonuses that place reinforcements on the map. For example: Slim's card puts the Armored Brigade into play.

How is supposed to remember all these nuances and one off rules..brutal. Why did the LRB participate if the Hollandia hex was empty?
