The preparation and preposition of support poised to move into the hurricane zone makes me proud as a citizen. I am a retired Army Officer (26 years Active Duty); I personally witnessed the dedication and commitment of our government to come to the aid of our citizens in natural disasters. Nothing worse than conspiracies while you are trying to help people in need.

truckin ... especially in the big city is never a dull moment... couple decades back I was drivin a straight truck ... semi in the lane to my left , back of trailer couple feet ahead of my bumper & the trailer tandems locked ... blew an air line ?.. hit the brakes to let cross in front of me to the shoulder , one of the crazier things ive seen
If your radio can't pickup from that close something is set wrong. Check the antenna match or maybe try without the antenna lights. A new cheap Francis antenna will work just fine.

Nadine fizzled out but between Costa Rica and Belize tropical storm brewing in this area is where Nadine fizzled out and at same time they named another storm Oscar October 17 to 19 might need to watch out. Leslie became active as hurricane October 11 and 12th over by Africa trucking towards North and South Carolinas borders if want to find it.
You know Tim can tune your trucks computer to give you more fuel mileage and response and more horsepower that warranty is over on that engine anyways i know my brother in law got it done to his truck and it would walk off and leave any stock truck i ever seen it run against even fours fully loaded going up steep graded they couldn't get away from him lol!
Partially correct … I do have ham in the truck … but wasn’t on it … was on my old galaxy 88 barefoot … I have my suspicions as to why he had trouble hearing the other trucks … but I’m not positive
And your CB should be able to reach like 8 miles probably pretty easy bud you should get it looked at if not at a CB shop it is pretty important if i had a trucking company it would be in my trucks they can save lives if people keep them on and just loud enough to understand what they are saying, around 21:53 if that was Tim talking it sounds like your antenna are not plugged in if you got Wilson silver loads get a meter and check them you can google or youtube all the information to set the silver load centers in the Wilson antenna's, but it really sounds like you have no antenna's hooked up!
If you're not receiving signal from a guy in front of the truck directly in front of you. Either his radio is trash, or your rf gain or squelch isn't properly set.
i'm having my tranmission on my truck fixed on 301 just south of citra monday. it has a bad front seal and torque converter. but shifts smooth and you can hear the torque converter rattle when it's cold. i just wish i could still do the work myself to save money but i can't get up and down from the ground anymore
I wonder when you meet up Tim he helped few truckers out starting out. They seem know allot about trucks and run all time . He probably help get you parts for your old Truck you still got it

If your radio has a RF Gain, turn it to the right. It will boost your reception.
If your radio can't pickup from that close something is set wrong. Check the antenna match or maybe try without the antenna lights. A new cheap Francis antenna will work just fine.

I came out of Tampa today & it was backed up from the 275 /75 south for a 100 miles
I don’t know if this will help your cb issues but try putting regular antennas on instead of the lighted ones and see if that makes a difference.
