    Couldn't believe your sub count when I saw it. Really good stuff and interesting to watch.

    this video is crazy good!! the quality of the video, audio, and the song over all is incredible, and something that someone with a MUCH higher sub count would make. Not to mention the editing, which is gold and must have taken forever. definitely deserve more subs, so i’m sharing with my friendsss

    im surprised these videos dont get the views it deserves. great tutorial and spicy editing! maybe it needs spicier title and thumbnail to attract more viewers?

      thanks! I've spent some time thinking about that, it's a tough balance between a consistent style and click-ability.

    good shit! can you tell me what you record your bass and guitar in? that's a nice distorted sound coming from a plugin, i assume.

    • @VarsityBeats
      @VarsityBeats  2 роки тому

      CLA Guitars for guitar (i know it's a bit of a meme but i like the amp sounds) and the bass is almost all clean signal with a little bit of Ableton's Saturator, a distortion plugin. I'm using the low string on a 5-string bass which gives it a different sound.

      @@VarsityBeats aye alright. thanks! yes, that sound is clean as hell. i might check that out.

    Amazing vid! One question, would you recommend ableton over fl? Considering switching but not sure if it’s worth the effort

    • @VarsityBeats
      @VarsityBeats  11 місяців тому

      I made the switch only because I was running into an issue with how other DAWs handle stretching/warping audio. Ableton is the cleanest in my opinion at doing this but I would only ever recommend switching if you are constantly running into this issue. FL is really good especially with lifetime free updates and their new stem splitter. I still use FL multiple times a week just for that one feature.

    What fx did u put on the guitars?

    • @VarsityBeats
      @VarsityBeats  2 роки тому

      For this one I used CLA guitars
      On the rhythm guitar I used the heavy amp and for the lead I used crunch
      I also put ozone imager on both to make them wide 👍
