with one director raja has this many memories and insights.. even though it was about singeetham sir the moment raja entered it became a kind of raja show...imagine if such a celebration is done for illayaraja how many heroes, directors, producers, singers, musicians, would talk about cinema how many sweet trivias we might collect.. ofc there were many shows that tried to honour illayaraja like raja 75 endrendum rja but they all completley failed to honour raja and his history can't be concized in a 2 hr show. so we need this kind of a event and I beleive it would easily go for atleast 20 episodes...RKFI could only make it happen

His remarkable memory, ability to learn and master new skills (lyrics writing) and languages in an instant, and his ability to concoct so many different permutations of musical magic (which is a lot of math) all stand testimony to this. I really wish all 3 of you should make a film again, Singeetham sir is still young in thoughts and able to direct sitting on a chair; a 2 hour film would still be possible I believe; as a cinema lover, still can't get over, need more such classics
I loved this interaction and have been really enjoying the series.Although this episode was enjoyable on it's own, I feel like the focus was taken away from Singeetham Srinivas sir. I love listening to Kamal talking, but I wish he didn't talk over Singeetham sir when he is trying to talk. This one felt a bit different than the other episodes in this series. If it wasn't a part of the series, then it is definitely an amazing one to watch.

I loved this interaction and have been really enjoying the series.Although this episode was enjoyable on it's own, I feel like the focus was taken away from Singeetham Srinivas sir. I love listening to Kamal talking, but I wish he didn't talk over Singeetham sir when he is trying to talk. This one felt a bit different than the other episodes in this series. If it wasn't a part of the series, then it is definitely an amazing one to watch.
It is difficult even for IR to explain the creative process coz music just flows. No amount of words can explain.

We had the blessings of our Uncle over the What's app Video Call on this New Year's Day.
Well organized and well deserved Celebration at his young age of 92. It is indeed a great blessing for all of us who know him for many years as our beloved uncle. Can't Thank Enough, Sri Kamalhaasan AvargaL for this outstanding tribute. So many Legendary Directors including Sri Mani Ratnam, Sri KS Ravikumar, Sri Santhana Bharathy and the Legendary Composers Sri Isaignyani Ilayaraja AvargaL, Sri AR Rahman AvargaL, Sri DSP Avargal and many more celebrities attended this event as their mark of respect to Sri Apoorva Singeetham AvargaL. All 4 episodes are simply Outstanding. Very well compered, edited and presented. Our sincere Thanks goes to the entire team involved in making this. Sri Isaignyani's Tribute combined in here in this episode is so satisfying, especially for those who don't know the good sides of the Maestro Isaignyani AvargaL. The behind the scenes details on Raja Paarvai's blind school visit brought in uncontrollable tears on the eyes of everyone who watched it. Isaignyani's humblest speech ever marked his respects to Sri Singeetham and added more laurels to him.
On the 3rd episode Sri AR Rahman, the Oscar Winning Composer, who has always been known for his humbleness, even wanted to work with Sri. Singeetham AvargaL. He even volunteered to go and visit Sri Singeetham Avargal at his house as a mark of respect for his knowledge, age etc.
It is indeed a privilege to see this event and those lucky ones who had the blessings of watching all 4 episodes in person are so much blessed.
