Damn, those were some good impressions!
Oh it's Nigel reacting to Nigel.
If you're there it would be my multiverse of madness. 😭
You supposes to be here ! Lol
Damn, two Nigels
the Wrong Nigel Died
Guests questioning whether anyone listens to the podcast will never not be hilarious
it barely functioning ~adds flavour~
We want Uncle Roger and NileRed Nigel
We need*
There talking about NileRed @@hannahlistento100EAT
Had to edit so they didn't just find some other guy called Nigel, eh?
@@4rtie yeah
nigel that can cook but doesnt like chemistry and nigel that does chemistry and can't cook, perfect
"A little bit more nasal..." 😂 Allen is Gold!
You guys are just the most wholesome bunch of cuties!
Kevin really hit us with "I thought [Malaysia] was a country not an island"
Allen, The Vagabond. Age 22. Voluntarily on the run from adulthood.
The Open Hole sign makes me laugh every single time and I want one.
You can buy them pretty easily. Bout 25 bucks for an aluminum version.
We need all the Nigels. Fantastic guest
I got a fiber laser to review this week, sadly it isn't anywhere near as cool as Kevin's.
As an audio listener, I'd like to thank you for going and getting the microwave
, , , .... Awh...
He said it really expecting a high quality production on the edit lol
3:03 in Spain they say “Tio” to everyone too. Also means uncle.
My brother cooked at a Midwest truckstop and the Arab owners had an indentured slave that didn't speak English. The only thing I ever got was milkshakes, it was the only thing on the menu they didn't take off a half eaten plate and put on another to send back out. They were serving trash.
A kid I went to school with, his mom was a haggard lot lizard there, knocking on Every truck door.
I was at another one years later. Don't worry about sleeping in them, we had half a dozen in the lounge and never bothered people with their heads down at a table. We had like 280 staying every night in the lot with room for a few dozen inside. It was what we did. No one should feel odd about sleeping in one.
You're a hell of a lot safer inside at a table then in the back of the parking lot. We didn't even know wtf was going on back there half the time. Cameras can't see 💩 between or behind rows of semis despite have like 20 of them all over outside.
I cooked. One guy used to call from like 400 miles away to see if I was working. I hooked everyone up because our prices were ridiculous. Nothing crazy, 3 slices of bacon instead of two, extra tomato, 15% more fries. That's it. I didn't say anything to anyone and I started getting tips and double orders to take one away. I turned the clientele around by not being the drone progeny of a corporate monster.
It made me happy, people going bananas over food I cooked is always nice. I was fired for not working full time when I was hired as part time and was fine with that. She said something akin to; "the rules have changed. Pray I change them no further." Then had a change of heart and fired my by writing it on my paycheck envelope.
Enjoy the story... or not. Wish it was telling ya about my Nobel prize instead, but ya play the cards you're delt.
Oh Allen, that trucker probably thought you were a lot lizzard. 😂
I too want to "squirt out beyond UA-cam". William has a way with words hahaha.
Also, I love that you leave in the whole conversation about the size of Malaysia, it feels like my ADHD brain at 1:00 in the morning, but I don't have to physically do the googling myself.
My microwave has 18 buttons
Mine has 2 knobs and a door release latch.
@@tytaanistoaster
@tytaanis we used to have one of those in an old rental, that shit was like from the 70s, it had a knob for the timer and a knob for the temperature
@@tytaanismine has 2 knobs and no release latch. Just pull the handle of the door. It was build last year and I really don't know what you would need 10 or more buttons on there for? 😂
@@DiverseGreen-Anon i made it a point to to buy this one with only 2 knobs, because you’re right, there really isn’t a need for all those buttons
Allen just casually participating in poverty tourism
Thank you for opening my eyes to the wonders of MSG, Uncle Roger! My cooking skills have doubled instantly!
its funny that they actually made the 100th episode being the one featuring Nigel Red even though this was recorded earlier
pls a Nigel Nigel collab in 150th ep
allen really has the most unexpectedly interesting life
3:21 I didn't realize this was also a thing in other countries. In Morocco culture, we also call family friends uncle and auntie as a sign of respect. We don't do it with random people tho, just people you know
Yep same in many eastern European countries. Most of Asia too.
Can confirm, in the Philippines “Tito” (uncle) is reserved for family and family friends. Strangers tend to be either “kuya” (bro/older brother) or “manong” (old man) depending on their age
As a trucker who drives 12hrs a day ... i cant agree more😂
Same here driver... It's even crazier here up north; Canadian hours of service allows for 13 hour drive times and a 16-hour shift window 😵 I don't know why I love the job so much, but I do 🤷... I have a university degree, I've worked in a variety of other industries, but I've never had a job that scratches a brain itch quite like this one
@kingstos oh i know how it is in Canada. im on Ontario driver. Usually 12 hrs a day for my dedicated "local" run but definitely run into my 16 with wait times pretty often then get up and do it all over again 5 days a week
@@AndyTrucker1985 Nice dude! I run a reefer out of PEI, I mostly do cross-border stuff these days but I've done a lot of deliveries and backhauls out of the GTA. Catch you on the 401 sometime 🤙(...unless you work for one of those deep-pocketed companies that lets you run the 407 😂)
More Nile Red impressions please
We need Dangerous Nigel and Asian Nigel in the same room
Ladies and gentlemen am honoured to announce that this is my new official podcast
MOST EPIC CROSSOVER
no but seriously. I love your guyses chemistry together. I only listen to 2 podcasts, trash taste and this one, I love you guys. awesome job!
The last few days I've been binge watching all the Uncle Roger videos I missed over the last couple years! Wasn't expecting this collab haha
Why was Allen's Nigel impression so good
Thought it was a audio recording
PLEASE KEEP MAKING THESE 🔥
Will asking if he's ever been to Thailand and if the food was good immediately after he said that he was just in thailand and the food was really good is top teir. That's what I subscribed for
Who's next, Alan with a Nigel Thornberry mask?
I've been microwave-free for 10 years now. 0 buttons
If you use cellular devices, a car key fob, or wifi, you are still using microwaves. I know that's not your point, but do with that information what you wish.
@@BloodAsp you are right about WiFi. Car key fobs usually operate at 315 MHz in North America and 433 MHz anywhere else. But there's other stuff like zigbee microwaving me. I'm not concerned about microwaves I just realized I don't really need one.
@@il0vewikipedia The microwave frequency band is classically defined to be from 300 MHz to 300 GHz.
This is a very wide range, as it corresponds to wavelengths from 1 m to 1 mm λ.
Though, you are correct in the sense that most people do consider the microwave range to begin at 1 GHz commonly.
More to topic though: Do you use an induction stove, or what is your choice of implement?
No one has ever been microwave free, we get bombarded with RF from space and high energy particles that create RF in our atmosphere.
So even cavemans haven't be "microwave free" 😂🤣
Man, it's really cool to hear someone so well versed in language discuss learning them

Please get cody'slab as a guest.
As someone who recently fell into a rabbit hole and watched a lot of Allen's older videos, it's kinda funny to hear him saying that science youtube isn't really political when he made videos during the pandemic making fun of antivaxxers and antimask people 😅
also i new nigel ng was controversial but him defending passport bros was not on my bingo card lmao
Nigel is looking good this episode.
My microwave has 6 buttons (my guess was 8) and a knob.
Cool thing about the knob is that it has two functions. When it is in clear, turning it to the right sets the time (at full power). Turning it to the left you can set the defrost based on weight (in increments of 100g).
Never used it. It's always the start/+30s and sometimes the stop/clear button. These two buttons is all that a microwave needs.
I fully expect Nigil when I saw the title and thumbnail
As someone who lives in Mississippi and has been elsewhere the worst thing about here is the roads, other than that it's really just the country's largest small town.
Today i learned William Drinks the Same Kirkland Cold Brew Coffee I drink. Wow
just re-watched the one with chubbyemu, and then im blessed with this! the youtube gods be blessed!
I wish I could've been there. I've lived in Malaysia and could've given him some good questions. Much respect Uncle.
Today I learn the phrase: Lot Lizard.
”I thought it was a country, not like …an island.” -Backyard Scientist on Malaysia
Best episode ever havent even watched it yet lol
Allen standing up for the trans community always makes my heart do the smiley emote :)
same, ive noticed that a couple times now and its very sweet :)) love him
Glad Nigel could make it. good episode
52:10 William getting nerd sniped by the idea of a singing induction cooker is possiby one of the coolest things I've witnessed on this stream
turns out allen really was a starving animal in a past life
okay I NEED them to see this: The best microwave I ever owned that my wife hated. SINGLE BUTTON.
A Dial, more specifically, the first 1/4 spin was stepping up by 1 second to like 20 seconds, the next quarter was by 5 seconds increments up to like a minute, then the it jumped up to 30 second intervals after like 3 or 4 minutes. A full wrist rotation would get you up to like 5 minutes, and if you spun the dial at any point during cookie it would add that time to it, like a +30 second button.
My wife made me get rid of it because she thought it was stupid.
I can’t wait till episode 200 because they might actually show what they’re looking at on screen 😂
I got tickets to open sauce!
Ahh cool Nigel from NileBlue the guy who combines cooking chemistry and comedy
I moved a couple of months ago, my new microwave has a dial and 3 buttons (time defrost watt) my previous had 2 dials, watt and time. The most fun thing was a literal bell when the timer went off
IT HAS ARRIVED. THE MOMENT OF TRUTH. ALL WILL BE REVEALED.
Uncle/aunty/bro/sis... It's like saying you're a stranger but I'll treat you like I treat my family.. Very common in most non-white cultures.. Even bro in America has its roots in black and African cultures...
"Unless something bad happens" 🤣
My microwave has 2 dials and 1 button. A dial for mode, a dial for time, a button for open close
Malaysia mentioned! LETS GOOOO!!!
My microwave has two dials: Power and minutes - and a button to open the door. With that it implements heating, unfreeze and grill, just with markings on the dials.
I went through all the features of microwaves and finally realized that it's stupid to pay 50-100€ more for more buttons and more confusion.
GIVE YOURSELVES CREDIT! Yesterday I was watching a video where they brought up Piezoelectric minerals and I ONLY knew about that cause of YOU GUYS. Your nerding out and joking around TEACHES, EVEN if its through the dumbest tangents ever xD but theyre INTELLIGENT tangents
i love the new beginning. i could endure the beat for a couple seconds longer.. just sayin
Correct me if im wrong guys but i reckon it was very intentional to have the lower class of society be forced into these specific places, rather than them going there for the amenities it is the amenities that were put there after the fact. I feel that impoverished down on their luck people have no other option than those places like skidrow or the tenderloin and that is by design (teaspoon of salt im not bright)
AFAIK yeah, the so-called "ghetto" is typically engineered by white society in order to keep marginalized people confined to a certain area. Red-lining was a particularly intense example of this, along with the strategic placement of highways to keep poor people who couldn't afford a car from leaving the ghetto.
Mexican American. Can confirm, I have no idea who my actual family is because anyone in my life that was more than 10 years older than me ….. Tia Nina, Tio Chico relayed or not.
My microwave has 26 buttons
My whole microwave is a button beat that
@@scoobybag is it just one large button or many smaller buttons

I’m surprised to hear what Alan work was centered in, and also surprised to realize that the research is still going strong and changing constantly
As a son of a trucker, I can agree. Truckers are infact crazy. Both to sign up for their personal confinement, and becuase of it. But they can still be pretty chill, just excited spontaneously sometimes.
Not just because Uncle Roger is a big name, but this felt like a standout episode
I live & work in a predominantly Black neighborhood and I see a lot of younger individuals address those with seniority as "Auntie" so the Uncle reference as a sign of respect doesn't really surprise me too much😆
My microwave has two analogue dials and a door button. It's great. The reviews online said it was good for their 80 year old relatives. These 80 year olds know how to live.
Oh no another nigel is here 😂 i thought it was a joke when you guys mentioned to bring him here lol
Uncle Roger? This podcast has peaked
In South Africa we also call older people Uncle and Auntie as a sign of respect. And now I’m wondering if that might be due to our Indonesian/Malaysian influence.
Unexpected collab LOL
I wish this came out before the NileRed epsiode lmao
I literally only now realised it's supposed to be a dumpster.
All I need on the microwave is the +30 second button
Codys lab ... As guest would be very interesting...
what watch is nigel wearing?
When is comes to trucking i definitely think alot of us are off in a way or other but im only a local driver for a mega carrier and i get hourly pay so im in the minority of non owner operators that make over 100k/year and dont really work full 70hr weeks
Funny how both Nigel's are back to back
We used to have something called Joose that was 19%abv, came in a 20oz can, and was caffeinated.
No clue if my Thai food opinions are any good, but my go-to is Pad krapao. It's not the most traditional/historical Thai food but I think it's a good, simple street food and therefore a good litmus test. Partially because some restaurants really screw it up, which means I will never go there again.
Best microwave I ever used was had a hole cut through the buttons and just had a light switch mounted there to turn it on and off.
I removed my microwave over a year ago because I hated it being above the stove and I didn't use it often. I haven't replaced it and it's been fine.
I am an english person and i want our government to give our shit back to
Broooooo, yall got joji on?!
that intro was so loud it had its own twitter account
I wanna believe Nigel has been just off camera the other 98 episodes
Why do you need so many buttons. Our microwave here in Germany has one dial for wattage and one dial for time . And one button for open the door
special episode where the gang DIY wrecks uncle Roger's house with inane projects
Allen does a good Nile. I closed my eyes and could almost see his beautiful face! ❤
In Italy we make risotto with red wine, and is really nice
The beginning of this episode sounds like a mr green video
I was debating what microwave oven to get, and where to put it. Turned out I didn't need one. And I am one lazy bachelor.
HELLL YEAA!!!! Go Nigels!!!
Well.......... as a kiwi I cant say they're wrong on any account about New-Zealand lol
