I have a Pungo 120. Love it. The console was a big selling point for me. I go down to the river in the morning 3-4 times a week have my coffee and a scone.
I have the Oldtown Loon 120 basically same boat as the Wilderness. You can't go wrong with the pungo I did a 44.88 mile trip in under 15 hrs using my Loon and know the Pungo would rock the trip I did a well. A great long distance kayak.

We put two 2017 Pungo 120's on my wife's Civic without issue, obviously there are smaller cars, but it's a good indication on what is doable. It's actually easier to put them on that Civic than my Rav4 as we are both vertically challenged. ;)
I have loved your kayaks and they've inspired me to take the plunge and save up for a boat. I've eagerly watched your Boats under X dollars videos, and once I realized I was willing to save up for a nicer/faster boat I waited for this video (as well as scoured reviews all over...couldn't find a place that would let me try the boats). Anyway, this is the EXACT video I needed..... four months ago. But it all worked out because I ended up getting a Pungo! Just FYI to others interested, there are some discontinued colors that are $200 less in some stores. Thank you so much for your videos!

Looking to buy my first kayak, and this has been the most helpful review I've seen by far. Apart from racing kayaks in the 80's, I've spent most of my time on the water in canoes, so recreational kayaks are a fairly big unknown for me. Glad I stumbled across this video! Gives me a lot more confidence in knowing what questions to even ask and what kinds of things to look for. Thanks for posting this!
Definitely have to show the Old Town Loon 126 some love. In my opinion it's one of the best recreational kayaks on the market & probably has the best seat in any kayak.

Thanks for this review. It helped me decide on my first kayak. I was going to get a joyride, but seeing how the seating was tight for you at 6'2", I knew it would be even tighter for me at 6'4". So I ultimately decided on a Dagger Axis for what I ultimately plan on doing here in Michigan. Thanks for the help on decision.😁👍

I had a Wilderness Systems Pamlico (10 ft) that I absolutely loved. Great price for a great boat. I’m now in the market to purchase the Pungo this summer after losing my Pamlico in the Camp Fire. I hope you guys do become a dealer, I really would love to buy from you guys. Manzanita Lake is my favorite lake of all the ones I’ve ever been on. So much fun! I can’t wait to get paddling again, I miss it so much.
