thank you Cassie, lol on the funky. thank you again and yes I'll keep you in touch, yes I have had the nausea and dizziness for almost 10 months, my dr.s had sent me for all kinds of tests and only about 6 months ago did the hospital prescribe me meds to counter that feeling and thank God for those meds, they have helped tremendously! the Dr. who will be performing the surgery tells me that "it" will go away, but as I checked no one else has mentioned it so I guess its just me. Anyway thanks again for the encouragement and I will let ya know how the surgery went. thanks again and Godbless
it's been 3 days since my surgery, lots of pain between my shoulder blades, a constant pain, can't get into any and i mean any comfortable position to sleep. i'm exhausted, so tired. can't sleep for more than 30 minutes maybe. I feel like i made the wrong decision for this surgery.
I am so sorry to hear that. I do remember that well. It passes! All your muscles are tight and sore while they heal so try not to worry too much. I started getting deep tissue massages a few weeks after my surgery and it helped a lot. You are in the worst part right now but it won't last long!
Dear Cassie, I have gone over many videos to educate myself on the surgery I will be having in the next few weeks, and your info has been very helpful and detail out of them all. One question I have that I have been experiencing that no one else has touched upon is that along with my tingling and pain in my arm and neck is that I have been experiencing nausea and dizziness, my dr believes it is the herniation but again no one has spoke about it. So did you experience anything like that? Thank you for your feed back and Godbless.
Hi Funky. I did not personally experience any nausea or dizziness as a result of my herniated disc but it doesn't seem like an unusual symptom. What I do have experience with is anxiety and some very common symptoms of anxiety is nausea and dizziness. And, God knows, a herniated disc and an upcoming operation to fix it can be a very anxious experience. Perhaps that is what you are experiencing? Does that make any sense to you? If you are taking any medications to address the pain that may be adding to it as well. Please let me know how you're doing and if I can address any other questions or concerns you are having. Be patient, you are on the road to recovery.

I slept on a recliner chair for the first week to 10 days. It helped a lot not being flat on my back. Maybe you can try propping yourself up.
