You mean, today's social ailments like giving respect and recognition to corruptive persons, neglecting honesty, social respect to those who take dowry as a status symbol etc were not there in the society of '80s? I spent my youth amid same ailments. Only thing is that those practices are still existing. So, Mr Bhatti was not ahead of his time, but, with his tv presentations, he humorously condemned such social disorders.

@@ckamalakanth9532 but nobody else did. So he was ahead of his time. He made serials and tv shows on topics which were not talked much and revealed the bitter reality with humour. That was his genius.

But, nothing to take away from swargeeya Bhattiji, there were also very beautiful and highly meaning full episodes and serials on tv which which showed social commitment and condemned it's ill practices. Chunauti was such a graceful one which exposed the perversions in college life. Another serial, the name i forgot but Naveen Nischal played the father character in that, effectively showed us the helplessness of a drug adict. Yeh Duniya Gazab Ki was my most favorite humourous serial which exposed the selfish, corruptive, arrogant and grouping staff of Govt offices apart from some other good things. Wagle ki duniya also was humorously, but very delicately showing someother social disorders. Fouzi showed us the life and some disorders of militery life. See, how effective those serials were that even after ≥ 30 years i have not forgotten them. So, not only swa. Bhattiji, if to say, but there were some others too who were ahead of time. Thanks to all of them who taught at least some morals to me during my boyhood days.
