If you want to use some torque, shift between 4000 and 4500 rpm. Better look at the performance sheet in the upgrade menu for precise numbers. Particularly important with diesel engines.

The Titan is sick. Has a good amount of horsepower and so much torque. I bet you pull anyone out of a turn. I would like to see a new Titan build. One not in the snow. One that is basically stock looking but built for the dry streets. Hopefully they fix the wheel issue so they don't add so much weight. It would look sweet without the spare wheel in the bed, without the lights on the roof and some different style wheels.
Something else cool would be the addition of a launch control or two step. You can set it at the rpm you want and as long as you are holding the hand brake you are good to go.

What i'm saying is they have done tests in real life just watch the videos on youtube. Also i like the ram runner very much but we are comparing a 3/4 ton truck to a 1/2 ton truck.
To all, keep in mind the Nissan is only a concept truck. Although there are regular Titans and the stats are based on that the rest is all speculation while the Ram Runner and Ford Raptor are real trucks. Also they need to add regular trucks just because.
The Ram Rebel isn't half the off-road truck that the Ram Runner was. Not to mention, both the Titan and Raptor were inferior when it came to off-roading. And I doubt it would be any different today. Nowadays, Nissan uses a detuned Cummins engine for their Titan. They should've continued producing Ram Runner's throughout the last 7 years. The truck had incredible potential and as of right now, off-roading trucks are a big hit and there's definitely a place for it in today's market.

Try shifting the diesel in the torque curve and not all the way past redline. You'll be a lot faster.
When it comes to 4x4 cars or Trucks then I think diesel is far superior, if you want an off roading beast the diesel is the way to go.
Retz not necessarily. Diesel engines are meant for pulling and gas mileage. Having a Diesel engine (usually) means you have to have a heavy duty transmission and axles. This adds a lot of weight. Which you do not want for off-roading. In my opinion a decent sized V6 or a small V8 would be the best for off-roading.
HYPERGARAGE If you're planning on going through rivers and shit and doing some actual hecktic off-roading then you need a diesel since they don't drown, they're just more versatile imo.

Yeah, but remember that diesel's use turbski's (turbo) to make any power, by the time they completely spool & make any power you've already gotten stuck & need someone to pull you out, personally n/a gasoline motor would have to my choice.

Horsepower is simply a relation between torque and RPM, not how far you will take the wall ahah :P
A low torque engine that revs realy high can actualy be just as strong and "take a wall just as far" as a low reving high torque engine depending on the aplication xD
on horizon 4,do this with the TRX concept(which damn well better be in the game.)
diesel is good for drift cars too. watch some on youtube, they have the cleanest runs from the torque.
