I don't know why only the English dub has Mavuika and Capitano be silent for a majority of the battle, but besides that, Capitano in English captures the character quite well, sadly I can't say the same for Mavuika, but it's one of the improvements I've noticed in Hoyo games recently when it comes to the EN Dub, and it's great to see

Main is KR.(Native) For my view, EN dub is great on story/in-game talking. There's a lot of my favor EN dubs, but just take 2 examples. Zhongli and Furina. Their dubs are really fit on the character. At first, I try to write a long on EN dub's personal distaste about combat shouting, and playable kid girl character voice. But that's gonna be a too long for comment's comment, so I delete it. It's too hard to write long text in youtube app without any dictionary. lol.
@@diegophilip7921 For me, JP just has the most fitting combat voicelines courtesy of the very anime aspect of the game. They also just have very good voiceactors who can express the characters they play in combat scenarios. there are some characters who I like the EN dub for story and even combat though. I think the main thing about making a dub great in any language is that they have to match the character's personality for me. I can't really put it into words because it's hard but just think of English Eula, probably my favorite en dub.
@@fooo0pEN Eula? I agree. JP Eula is too humble, but EN Eula has a nice harmony with elegance and dignity to "vengence" for own way. And another. Honestly, I was disappointed on KR Eula. On combat voicelines, especially ultimate skill. When I heard it, that feels like "reading" a script, a little better. Odd thing is, that KR Eula's voice actor is really famous on the field. For example, she is D.VA in KR Overwatch. Therefore, I guess there are some misdirectings in recording....😞

Some of the delivery can be questionable for me, but I think the quest voicelines are done quite well (but I can't say the same about combat voicelines....) I only play in EN because English is the language I know best and I want to know what my characters are saying during combat lol.
My pick, only for this battle- Capitano: KR. DEFINITELY. Even though KR is my native. Voice actor shows a powerful, noble and fair warrior perfectly. Mavuika: JP. Shouting on battle feels power properly. Well, in my hearing, KR Mavuika is nice on dialogue. But in this scene, I feel she need more power.
Capitano CN voice gives me very big JP Madara vibe in terms of sounding old and wise and I love it. He sounds not just like a powerful and strong character but also as someone who knows almost everything. And this is literally the first impression he made after his appearance
I always play in JP, but honestly Capitano there sounded the least intimidating (not bad ofc, but my least favorite of the dubs as of rn). My preferences: KR > CN >= EN > JP. The first two he truly sounds like a evil (and older) big boss of a dangerous organization. As for Mavuika, JP is easily my favorite, being JP > KR > EN > CN for her, so far (opinions can always change the more we see).
Oh, wow... I haven't yet started the Natlan story quest, but couldn't stop myself from spoiling a little bit. And, man, this fight scene is peak. I can't but root for Capitano, mostly because I've always liked characters associated with ice, having blue color as main in their design. After hearing the Korean voice of Capitano, I no longer see his Japanese voice actor. But I still like the English voice actor Capitano and it still shows the grandeur of Capitano and it is attractive to me, but in general, I have to say that the English voice actors always tried well and created the best voices for the character of Genshin, but some players always see Japanese voice actors because of their presence and memory in the anime and do not pay attention to the English voice actors. Gonna be honest, kinda tired of jp making everything generic. CN, En don't have lot of battle sounds makes them look composed and the fight feels actually different. Too many sounds in JP is just another generic anime fight. Jp Mavuika here sounds amazing but out of all dubs JP has most generalized category.
Capitano in CN sounds way too much like an old man. Mavuika in EN sounds very flat or uninspired (throughout the entire Archon Quest aswell) Capitano JP = EN > KR > CN Mavuika JP = KR = CN > EN

JP 카피타노는 성우인 나리타 켄의 개인역량으로 끌고가는 느낌.
대사와 신음은 개인적으론 취향이 아니라 느꼈어도, 전투신에서 기합은 꽤 좋다고 느꼈는데, 어쩌면 싸우는 중이라 흥분상태라서 목소리가 높아지는 것이 납득되어서 그런걸지도 모르겠어요.
