Hi, I'm Robert Craparotta. I'm a Professional Wedding MC, Event Host, Master Of Ceremonies based in Sydney Australia. I was first introduced to MC’ing back in 2002 after getting behind the Mic for my Grandmothers 80th birthday celebration. Since then I have serviced many venues around Sydney and beyond and have been at the helm of over a thousand weddings and counting.
I don’t begin an event until you can hear a pin drop and all eyes are on me, whether it’s a boutique wedding at a boutique restaurant or an 800 people guest list in an exclusive ballroom, it’s the one thing that I insist on and I feel is my duty as Wedding MC. My delivery behind the Mic is natural, entertaining, captivating and at the same time assertive when I need to be. I can create the hype for those large party vibe celebrations but also establish just the right atmosphere for intimate gatherings, there's also a lot I do off the mic to ensure an event runs smoothly and to schedule. There are only a few special moments in a wedding celebration where the guests attention is crucial to the flow of the night and I pride myself on ensuring moments like “Speeches” and “Cutting of the Cake” are fully appreciated, if the atmosphere is not created effectively then an MC hasn’t done his or her job properly, it’s these moments that make the night and you’ve got to be able to control the room and hit those highs.
