Yeah I agree. The second toad boss' second form is the easiest thing to dodge. Also, all 3 of the weapons are still pretty damn good. If you want to use the chaser you can just use smoke bomb, jump around, hold shoot button until it ends. I guess it just doesn't fit some people. Personally, it helped me out.

TheStickNik against the Dragon in the second world it is very useful in half stage otherwise you would have to aim diagonally down while avoiding small creatures.
Or use the charged weapon. You can just aim to the dragon in the mid and low clouds and hit him easily. It also deals much more damage, meaning it'll be over sooner.

The roundabout is almost useless. Its better to use the main gun+shotgun combo. As ranged weapon, the charged one is the best and one-shots most enemies.
I feel like what y’all don’t realise about the chaser is that since you’re always hitting the boss, you’re pretty much getting an equal amount of damage as all of the weapons that do average damage (since you’re not always hitting them with that). Don’t underestimate the chaser, it’s really useful
@@chloemiller4941 Wow no trouble even? What boss gave you the most trouble? Did you play on easy or normal? The only run and gun stage i struggled with a bit was the one with the rats and that giant cyclops. The fact that the rats respawned so quickly took some time getting used too. The hardest boss for me was the dragon. But almost all bosses took several times too get used to. Some more than others.
@@Barbro247 I play on normal and expert. The dragon did give me some trouble, but i got used to it with the lobber. Dr. Khal or Rumour Honeybottoms gave me the most trouble. I haven't completed the game yet, I'm still trying to beat Dice, but i always get the wrong combination of minions 😂
Tips: 1. Get the invisible dash 2. Get the charge shot early (can easily burn through bosses' health especially in situations where you only have a small window to shoot and have to avoid projectiles most of the time, which is 80% of the boss fight). 3. Change the dash button to RB so you can hold down X while you dash since you should use it regularly 4. I find that the spread shot only good for clearing breakable projectiles(not even good in most run and gun stages) not great for shooting directly at the bosses so switch weapon often.
For the dragon fight, I'd say it's easier to NOT shoot always in the last part of the fight, since it splits up his projectiles into even more, making the fight wwwaaayy harder
I disagree that the tracker shot is for beginners. Not just because I use it and don't want to be called a beginner, but if you're facing a boss where you have to dodge many attacks, you shouldn't have to worry about aiming your weapon at the boss.
Krusty Kream Especially for the pirate ship level where it is hard to shoot the ship's tongue, especially when he does the blast attack where it is impossible to damage him without the chaser.
Chaser is probably the worst weapon to use against the pirate. The shots will just home in to the barrel unless you go close. And during his laser attack, you can damage him with spread and roundabout.
In Cagney Carnation fight, parry the pink seeds. These pink seeds are the one who spawn that flying enemy who is invulnerable unless when it's shooting, and touching it damages you. If you parry that seed, you will not only be protected from an annoying enemy, but also gain a free power card
Marcozee no because against some bosses if you constantly shoot it will burst their attacks in mini attacks. And then it becomes impossible. In 90% of cases you can constantly shoot though.
Another thing I found extremely helpful for Ribby and Croaks (because it took me a week to beat them.) when the fan thing is blowing in your face stay facing the fan and just run forward and when you need to back up let the fan push you backwards and for the spinning ball things they always have a pattern. Watch the first ball. It will either hit close to the frog on the left first or not. From that point on it will always alternate!!! Hope this was helpful!!!!!
Tip 1: Buy the charged shot Tip 2: Buy the charged shot Tip 3: Buy the charged shot Tip 4: Do you know what this one is? That's right! Buy the charged shot.
Charge-Sometimes when getting into a boss at the start it is hard to shoot with charge since you don't know how the enemy attacks, but once you have the muscle memory down the charge shot in my opinion is the best weapon in the game, while it might not be good for some bosses, it does help Spread-The spread is really good for close range bosses, I found my self beating boss stages quickly while equipping this(Beppi's ballon stage, goo's grave stage), however, long range it is horrible, I usually switch to charge or something else when I'm done using it Roundabout-This weapon is very useful for some bosses, in my opinion it's not the best weapon but I can see why people like it, using it straight at the bosses makes it just like the peashooter, but using it backwards can make it very useful when dodging enemies Lobber-The lobber is actually a pretty good weapon in some boss fights, such as the dragon, and run and gun levels, it does good damage so if bosses are low in the map you can shoot down on them and cause lots of damage, however if enemies are not on the ground or at an angle then it is pretty much useless Chaser-It does below average damage, however if used right it can be good in boss battles and especially in run and gun levels, it is useless in some levels such as captain brineybeard but can be amazing if you are patient and have good dodging skills, however I used it only for run and gun levels Peashooter-The peashooter is the standard gun, so not much is expected of it, it has amazing range so if there is a boss that is far away from you it can be good to use, plus it does average damage, however in later boss battles it can be hard to use because of it's average damage and it can be hard to aim it That is my ratings on the guns, however you might have a different opinion
Does anyone know what does the game mean with "super meter X/Y" in the score screen? I know parrying builds it, but even if I parry a lot it ends up at, like, 4/6 or something like that.
That is how many super attacks you used in the fight. You have to hit the boss with 6 super attacks to max out that stat. So make sure you party to charge them up and don't forget to use them!
Love the game! Good tips! However I have found plenty of use out of the Chaser weapon. During fights that certain weapons can't hit in a phase or you have to completely focus on projectiles that can't be destroyed you can spam the chaser and then switch to the main weapon when you can do more damage with it.
there is a glitch on cagney carnation if you dash into the acorns before he fires them he freezes and you can kill him easily, but it requires accurate timing, i have personally done it it is possible but it took a few tries
You saying that cuphead is a game that's meant to be played with patience and care just entirely changef my view of it and I was able to beat the boss I've been stuck on for like 10 minutes now, thank you my friend!
Alan,Parries are Bold and Brash.Unlike your profile picture which belongs in the trash. The reason?Nullifying Projectiles.By the by it's pretty much needed on Dr Kahl's Robot.
tip from me: dont assume 1 weapon is op just because it recks 1 boss, ALL weapons are great and every boss has their own meta for example: This guy said the CHASER was bad, and although it is for bosses like the Vegetable Trio, it will be a LIVE SAVER on Run 'n Gun levels. and the CHARGE-SHOT is alot better alternative over the ROUND-ABOUT on the Frog and Vegetable bosses
I feel like I would recommend the chaser weapon for early game. It is very underpowered, yes. BUT, it can home in on enemies, allowing you to take them down without firing. Of course, the chaser doesn't have a use for everything. Grim Matchstick, for example. The peashooter does a lot better here than the chaser, as the boss is almost covering the right side of the screen. As for his 2nd & 3rd phases, I would recommend the roundabout. It will do good damage in this phase, due to you having to move the opposite way of the dragon. The roundabout is a good weapon when you don't want to face the enemy up front, but so is the chaser when the enemy keeps moving. I found the PacBreaker enemy from Baroness von Bon Bon a lot easier simply due to this gun. The roundabout is a good weapon, yes, but for the beginning, I would definitely recommend the chaser gun.
Well here's a little glitch me and my brother found while playing cuphead. When you're fighting the carnival level's first run and gun there's this popcorn machine that's basicly impossible BUT you can get passed it with taking no damage right before you get to him there's this thing you have to parry to jump over to get to him (miniboss) stay on top of that crouch and shoot and you can finish him 20 secs max
Parry Sugar is crazy helpful for certain bosses, especially against Cagney's pink seed pods. Speaking of that flower, you can duck under his blue boomerang. And Goopy's ground attacks.
I like to call this one "Anakin you're stupid" Most bosses try to force you into the high ground, with platforms and mini enemies that chase you left and right. But, sometimes you're actually safest at the bottom of the screen. There it can be easier to dodge small projectiles, but at the top you don't have as much room to jump around and dodge.
Ngl these are pretty bad tips, the worst one is the chaser tip, chaser can be very useful for other bosses such as, 2 phase of Grim Matchstick. This guy is probably a noob himself
Well, I made a mistake of buying the chaser and not buying the roundabout, and I"m not fighting all those bosses again *EDIT* It was not a mistake, chaser is really good, y'know in the level on the second world with the cars and flippy upside-down card thingos (Yes, that's what I call everything that I don't know the name to) the wall guys on the level were really easy with the chaser, I tried roundabout, I couldn't really hit him, I tried spread, which took forever to kill him with, then chaser which took about 30 seconds to a minute, because I was always hitting him, I think all of them have their own purpose, and all you've gotta really do is hold down the trigger or whatever button is shoot for you to hit the target with the chaser, and also, for some reason my left bumper doesn't really respond well when pressing, it, I normally had to press it like 20 times to switch weapons, if you're in the same case as me, use the back button, the one to the left of the Xbox home button, it works well for me
Actually it is useful. It makes a couple bosses easier like the Candy queen, and the queen bee for example. Using on some of them is just bad though, because they will sometimes home onto projectiles that will either explode or will either not take damage.
I agree. You just have to pick for your play style. Some would prefer homing so they can concentrate more on movement than aiming. However some weapons will be better than others depending on the boss. Like some are so obviously meant for the Spread.
I swear these Xbox one controllers are so glitchy! I was Playing gta 5 and I had the cops on me then my controller just decided to disconnect and it's not dead... it's fully charged I used both of my controllers AND I used the sync button on the controller and Xbox but it was stupid and not connecting. U guys need to make an update to fix the controllers because they are so annoying
The same happens to me all the time I have to make sure my cellphone it's not closed to me because some times when I get a message it also disconnects my Xbox controller and sometimes it doesn't even turn on my consol I have to plugged in to turn it on
This was great! Not only did you help me, you didn’t give me any spoilers which isn’t something I usually see. I just got cuphead today and an fighting those frog dudes. I’m saving up for that smoke bomb now :D
I know a way to make the Cagney carnation fight super easy, when she is about to release the chasing seeds from her leaves, quickly jump into the middle of the leaves and get hit by the seeds, this way Cagney carnation will freeze giving you a chance to shoot her to death!
4:53 I have trouble on the snake and bull attack on the slot machine. Ribby and Croak’s 2nd stage is easy with long range weapons. Also, I always mess up with smoke bomb because I always land on an enemy.
I actually had a strategy for Cagney. So you need the spread shot and the pea shooter. When you can get close use the spread shot BUT the parryable seed you NEED to parry so that the annoyingly flying flower doesn't mess you up in Cagney's last phase. One thing I recommend is to try to keep atleast 2hp for Cagney's last phase because if you fail once you still have 1hp to beat him. I recommend using the peashooter for the last phase. That was my strategy to beat Cagney Carnation
Here are some tips I have found, some might be weird 1) do the tutorial even if you have played the game before, you can always get better at partying and get a free coin 2) go straight for regular mode; doing simple would get your brain used to the easier attacks and might give you bad strategies since some key features are missing in simple mode. You want to have your brain know the harder stuff and get patterns for those 3) Give yourself goals; what I always do is tell the boss I'm fighting "I'm going to ______ by _____!!!!" And then try and do that. Thus has helped ,e beat so many bosses that I've had trouble on, since it brings out my competitive spirit. 4) stay calm and smile: the more angery or stress you have, the worse you would do. If you just stay calm and smile, you won't get as mad or won't get mad as easy, improving your preformance. Please know, this is all from my experience.
roundabout, charge, super I, and smoke bomb is a good set for most of the game. some segments you can swap a weapon for the lobber, and coffee is my recommended charm for aeroplane fights
The homing gun is really useful when fighting late-game bosses (dragon for example) where you have to move alot while fighting. The guy who beat all bosses on Expert mode and got a perfect score consistently used the homing gun. Of course everyone has their own preference but i wouldn't suggest labeling it a "beginners weapon".
Here's a tip for the root pack 1: buy the smoke bomb (you'll need it to reduce some damage) 2: in the battle with the potato, dash behind him so he can't hit you. This is an easy way to win the first form without any damage. 3: when fighting the onion, keep firing at his body and just be aware of the tears above you. 4:when fighting the carrot, try you best to eliminate his homing carrots and target his face when he shoots his psychokinetic waves (The triple shot works great if you have it ) 5: win (also, parry onion's pink tears to build your ex-cards and use them when needed)
On another note: change your control settings if you haven't. I personally really like these (xbox 360 controller): RT-shoot LT-dash B-special attack X-switch weapon A-jump LB-lock aim ALSO! While it's good to always be shooting it can be bad. An example would be when you're fighting the dragon on isle 2. When the dragon is in it's final form he'll shoot fireballs in bubbles. If you hit the bubbles they'll pop and you'll have 3 or more mini fires instead which is really bad when you're trying to dodge everything else. Instead you should shoot him when his head transforms into some sort of flame thrower since there won't be any "fire bubbles" around. There are more examples but I'm too tired to remember them but if you noice something is difficult try and stop shooting to see if it gets easier (mostly applies to run and gun but also some bosses). If you don't have anything to hit it can also help to not shoot so that your screen is "cleaner" and you'll be able to see more of the projectiles you have to dodge. I watched the creators play and they basically used all of the strategies I used when I played the game (I've finished it) but I also did some things differently and it worked just as well and sometimes better than their techniques
Alright, here's some tips I'd like to add: 1. 5 EX attacks generally will do more damage than one Super 1 or 3. There is still a purpose to them as a get out of jail free card when you're about to get hit, but if you're safe, you might as well fire off the EX attacks instead. 2. Not all EX attacks are created equal. If you need to fight from a distance against a boss and you packed Charge and Spread (which does poor damage from a distance), I hope you don't like using EX moves, because you won't be able to very effectively. The EX move alone basically made me ditch the Roundabout because I found it too much of a hassle to try to dodge my own shot along with everything else in the middle of a boss fight, for example. Peashooter, I found, generally has the best all-purpose EX move of the bunch, but the others have uses as well. Just something to consider. 3. Remember to switch out your weapons. Some weapon combos will be way better against certain bosses than others. Fighting Grin Matchstick? Well, Charge helps with Phase 3, Lobber helps with Phase 2, and, thanks to the level design, it's easy to hit Grim with Lobber's EX move: Kablooey. That is what I found to be by far the best combo against Grim. However, if you try to bring Lobber against Captain Brineybeard, who stays in the top right corner of the screen the entire fight, good luck. I typically find that you should always have at least one long-range damage option at all times between Peashooter, Roundabour, and Charge for every fight, though which one depends on the situation. 4. Always make sure at least one weapon in your weapon slots has a good EX move for the situation. If you don't, then you'll run into issues with damage as you're forced to use a Super instead, which is generally slower. For comparison, 1 Energy Beam super will deal 87 damage.Meanwhile, for the same cost, 5 EX Peashooter shots will deal a combined 125 for the same cost. 5. ALWAYS bring the Spread against any boss who is in the background during the fight. Against these bosses, it is easy to deal high damage with the Spread, since you can always hit with all of the shots if you stand in their hurtbox. If that doesn't sell you on it, the EX move for it, 8-Way, deals 40 damage with all 8 hits. That means that, for 5 cards, you can deal 200 damage, which is more than twice as efficient as using Super 1 would be.
If you are playing on xbox, get the weapons roundabout and lobber. When fighting a boss, click lb to switch weapons as fast as possible (Make sure to do it for the entire boss, even if your finger gets tired.) It will do way more damage then just using one type of shot.
USE THE CHASER! Especially people like me, with difficulty concentrating on all the projectiles that come for you. During the Cagney Carnation fight or the Baroness Von Bon Bon fight, I only use it, seldom switching to anything else. Sure, it does a bit less damage, but with bosses that, like you said, have only a specific hitbox like the two I mentioned above, you can stand wherever you want on screen and it will still hit the boss. It's a great weapon.
map your fire to R1 and your super to R2, then map the dash to circle and switch weapon to Triangle. Now your Dark Souls muscle memory takes over. Also, while in attack, you hold R1 and you keep pressing Triangle to switch between weapons. I don't know why but it absolutely eats the boss HP, close range with Spread and Roundabout is pure madness. You can do it in airplane mode as well, as soon as I realized it, I got a very easy kill on the genie boss
Video was worth it to hear Benny say "tiny homing carrots." I left afterwards. That's a lie, I stayed.

2. Get the charge shot early (can easily burn through bosses' health especially in situations where you only have a small window to shoot and have to avoid projectiles most of the time, which is 80% of the boss fight).
3. Change the dash button to RB so you can hold down X while you dash since you should use it regularly
Good advice I've been trying to do that level for days now lol
@@thegrayghost1786 you could with the roundabout
In Cagney Carnation fight, parry the pink seeds. These pink seeds are the one who spawn that flying enemy who is invulnerable unless when it's shooting, and touching it damages you. If you parry that seed, you will not only be protected from an annoying enemy, but also gain a free power card
"I'm only using bosses from the first isle"
Has Mr. Wheezy on the video cover.
Lady R Of Rage What do you mean of course he’s a first isle boss. (irony)
XD
whos on island 2
OPK96 clown hammmmmering me lol
that genie battle tho
OPK96 island 3, only trouble I've had is with von bon bon, that waffle
grim matchstick ;_;
OPK96 on him I used the lobber (my favorite shot) with the chaser and coffee
Would it make it easier if I taped down the attack button so it constantly attacks?
Cheating. Cheating is the word your looking for.
Marcozee no because against some bosses if you constantly shoot it will burst their attacks in mini attacks. And then it becomes impossible. In 90% of cases you can constantly shoot though.
No. Just don't.
Magikarpusedfly i see
Just hold down attack!
Game of the Year
Austin Spraggins so true
If you have a elite controller turn the trigger in to gun and you don't have to worry about keeping x down
Unless you use the best weapon which is the charger.
To beat Cagney carnation you can parry the seed that makes the flying pod that attacks you this makes it allot easier to dodge his final form
Bruce Bee IT WAS THE FRICKEN TIGERS!!!!!! ALSO I DIDNT STAY ON THE SAME LEVEL FOR THE ENTIRE TIME!!!! AND IM NOT A HUGE FAN OF MINE CRAFT!!!!!!
I’m sure it took you longer to beat one of the easy ones!!! We’ve all been weak at one point. ‘
Bruce Bee no the random tigers that appeared.......
Yes the ones from the slot machine
Bruce Bee Oh good for you!!!!!! 😒
boi, i got to inkwell isle 2 the same night i got the game, i got the game at around 6:00 Pm and by 8:00 I was already on the second isle
Here's a tip hits the pause button hit exit game and then go into setting and hit Uninstall
that chaser weapon I find useful for the second stage of Grim Matchstick :3
Tip 1: Buy the charged shot
Tip 2: Buy the charged shot
Tip 3: Buy the charged shot
Tip 4: Do you know what this one is? That's right! Buy the charged shot.
Panduh you forgot get smoke bomb. I agree with everything else
Charge-Sometimes when getting into a boss at the start it is hard to shoot with charge since you don't know how the enemy attacks, but once you have the muscle memory down the charge shot in my opinion is the best weapon in the game, while it might not be good for some bosses, it does help
Spread-The spread is really good for close range bosses, I found my self beating boss stages quickly while equipping this(Beppi's ballon stage, goo's grave stage), however, long range it is horrible, I usually switch to charge or something else when I'm done using it
Roundabout-This weapon is very useful for some bosses, in my opinion it's not the best weapon but I can see why people like it, using it straight at the bosses makes it just like the peashooter, but using it backwards can make it very useful when dodging enemies
Lobber-The lobber is actually a pretty good weapon in some boss fights, such as the dragon, and run and gun levels, it does good damage so if bosses are low in the map you can shoot down on them and cause lots of damage, however if enemies are not on the ground or at an angle then it is pretty much useless
Chaser-It does below average damage, however if used right it can be good in boss battles and especially in run and gun levels, it is useless in some levels such as captain brineybeard but can be amazing if you are patient and have good dodging skills, however I used it only for run and gun levels
Peashooter-The peashooter is the standard gun, so not much is expected of it, it has amazing range so if there is a boss that is far away from you it can be good to use, plus it does average damage, however in later boss battles it can be hard to use because of it's average damage and it can be hard to aim it
That is my ratings on the guns, however you might have a different opinion
1:45 "always be firing" Well those damn circus balloons would disagree.
Also, don't shoot a boss causing it to transform at the same instant that you die. You'll softlock the game. XD
I'm confused now
GodofMasks No, I've done that quite a few times lmao
This really helped me out,I didn’t know I had to buy the smoke bomb to invisible dash
Does anyone know what does the game mean with "super meter X/Y" in the score screen? I know parrying builds it, but even if I parry a lot it ends up at, like, 4/6 or something like that.
Hawelo92 its how many cards you have when you finish
That is how many super attacks you used in the fight. You have to hit the boss with 6 super attacks to max out that stat. So make sure you party to charge them up and don't forget to use them!
I see, thanks!
babygamer 11 I tried the "how many cards when you finish", but you can only have 5 and the score goes up to 6.
@@Hawlo You Just have to use 1 super and 1 ex move on the boss
I know that I am 3 years late but even the uploader is dumb
Thank you this video helps me a hole lot
"Always keep firing." During this section, stops firing once
0:33 *Doesn't want to spoil bosses* , *uses part of a boss from the literal last part of the game in the thumbnail*
Love the game! Good tips! However I have found plenty of use out of the Chaser weapon. During fights that certain weapons can't hit in a phase or you have to completely focus on projectiles that can't be destroyed you can spam the chaser and then switch to the main weapon when you can do more damage with it.
CurseMark4Life Yeah, clearly he didn't get to the pirate ship before making the video.
yeah the chaser is good on rumor honeybottoms final phase
CurseMark4Life It's good for starters who don't like aiming, like me.
Thx for tips👍
there is a glitch on cagney carnation if you dash into the acorns before he fires them he freezes and you can kill him easily, but it requires accurate timing, i have personally done it it is possible but it took a few tries
It is now patched but it’s possible in the legacy edition
"The game is never unfair"
Cala Maria and Rumour Honeybottoms: am I a joke to you?
Wally warbles on expert is hell
both of these bosses were really easy and barely anything difficult in them, the only boss that I felt was unfair was Dr Kahls robot
Rumour is absolute hell. None of the bosses are particularly unfair, except for probably just Rumour.
You saying that cuphead is a game that's meant to be played with patience and care just entirely changef my view of it and I was able to beat the boss I've been stuck on for like 10 minutes now, thank you my friend!
Real pros parry.. on those frogs punches
It's useless to parry unless you want a higher score. Most times you'll end up in a bad position thanks to the unncessesary jump that a parry gives.
Alan It's more than doable. Git gud.
Alan,Parries are Bold and Brash.Unlike your profile picture which belongs in the trash. The reason?Nullifying Projectiles.By the by it's pretty much needed on Dr Kahl's Robot.
Im getting this game for sure
tip from me: dont assume 1 weapon is op just because it recks 1 boss, ALL weapons are great and every boss has their own meta
for example: This guy said the CHASER was bad, and although it is for bosses like the Vegetable Trio, it will be a LIVE SAVER on Run 'n Gun levels. and the CHARGE-SHOT is alot better alternative over the ROUND-ABOUT on the Frog and Vegetable bosses
You know that one level on island 3 with the octopus? The chaser comes in handy there
U dont really think the phrase is live saver.. Do you?
tips were ok but its on ps4 now so gotta learn somehow
thanks for the tips i just beat sally stageplay
Don't you diss Chaser bae
Well here's a little glitch me and my brother found while playing cuphead.
When you're fighting the carnival level's first run and gun there's this popcorn machine that's
basicly impossible
BUT you can get passed it with taking no damage
right before you get to him there's this thing you have to parry to jump over to get to him
(miniboss)
stay on top of that crouch and shoot and you can finish him 20 secs max
Literally all you need is the charge and the smoke bomb
And shotgun. It is really good against some bosses.
Parry Sugar is crazy helpful for certain bosses, especially against Cagney's pink seed pods.
Speaking of that flower, you can duck under his blue boomerang. And Goopy's ground attacks.
Christopher Zeineh Yeah, Parry Sugar is useful against a lot of bosses, like the rat and cat boss, the ghost train boss, ect
I like to call this one "Anakin you're stupid"
Most bosses try to force you into the high ground, with platforms and mini enemies that chase you left and right. But, sometimes you're actually safest at the bottom of the screen. There it can be easier to dodge small projectiles, but at the top you don't have as much room to jump around and dodge.
These are noob tips
RUDE
CleverRexGaming bruh moment
Ngl these are pretty bad tips, the worst one is the chaser tip, chaser can be very useful for other bosses such as, 2 phase of Grim Matchstick. This guy is probably a noob himself
Benny:always be shooting!
Grim match sticks: uh... uh... yeah keep shooting... especially my fire bubbles
let me guess dude be honest do yu like the carrot, cagney and the two frog?
Use weapon spamming only if you are stuck... it makes everything easy! Don't JUST use weapon spam though(switch weapon, shoot very fast)!
here's another tip,
AVOID THE HOLES IN THE TREETOP LEVEL BY DASHING
Well, I made a mistake of buying the chaser and not buying the roundabout, and I"m not fighting all those bosses again *EDIT* It was not a mistake, chaser is really good, y'know in the level on the second world with the cars and flippy upside-down card thingos (Yes, that's what I call everything that I don't know the name to) the wall guys on the level were really easy with the chaser, I tried roundabout, I couldn't really hit him, I tried spread, which took forever to kill him with, then chaser which took about 30 seconds to a minute, because I was always hitting him, I think all of them have their own purpose, and all you've gotta really do is hold down the trigger or whatever button is shoot for you to hit the target with the chaser, and also, for some reason my left bumper doesn't really respond well when pressing, it, I normally had to press it like 20 times to switch weapons, if you're in the same case as me, use the back button, the one to the left of the Xbox home button, it works well for me
2 players 1 cup sorta reminds me of something....
Lol to funny.
Erik liljeberg contra
...yea but its 2 players 2 cups.. Cuphead and Mugman, thats 2 cups. 2 players.....
You're disgusting.
OffhandDelivery no its MUGman
Here’s some tips!
Don’t focus on parry’s if you are trying to just play normally. And if they lead to a bad thing, NO TOUCHING!
The Charge shot though 💗
HADOUKEN!
Charge shot FTW
What a great guide! Kudos to you on this one!
No get the homing shot it is super useful
Mmasom.9 Masom noob
Just my opinion
Actually it is useful. It makes a couple bosses easier like the Candy queen, and the queen bee for example. Using on some of them is just bad though, because they will sometimes home onto projectiles that will either explode or will either not take damage.
jaylen hendley Thanks
I agree. You just have to pick for your play style. Some would prefer homing so they can concentrate more on movement than aiming. However some weapons will be better than others depending on the boss. Like some are so obviously meant for the Spread.
Despite being incredibly frustrating at times, Cuphead is a SUPER rewarding game and keeps you coming back. I absolutely love this game.
XBOX WINS
Of course it wins. I just bought the game on GOG.
Awesome video. Had no idea about how useful parrying is and will now make sure to continuously fire. Thanks man, defiantly helps.
WolfDude87 maybe dont throw your controller as much?
rakesonaplane I never do
The same happens to me all the time I have to make sure my cellphone it's not closed to me because some times when I get a message it also disconnects my Xbox controller and sometimes it doesn't even turn on my consol I have to plugged in to turn it on
try updating your controller or dont use pleb batteries
Guys it's ok I got my controller fixed like 5 hours ago
on the carrot boss fight, its best to stay in the middle so you can aim easily for the boss and run to the sides when he shoots the rays
This looks like a game people play on weed.
Twin Turbo what do you think weed does
Can confirm
Dude weed lmao
I changed the fire buttons (normal and extra) to the right & left triggers - makes it MUCH easier to hold down constantly while hitting other buttons.
This was great! Not only did you help me, you didn’t give me any spoilers which isn’t something I usually see. I just got cuphead today and an fighting those frog dudes. I’m saving up for that smoke bomb now :D
I love this game. My favorite of all time. Hands down!!!
The lobber is very useful against bosses like the dragon because they hit low and are damnaging
I know a way to make the Cagney carnation fight super easy, when she is about to release the chasing seeds from her leaves, quickly jump into the middle of the leaves and get hit by the seeds, this way Cagney carnation will freeze giving you a chance to shoot her to death!
This helped a lot. U showed me moves I didn’t even know exist. Thanks man!
most important tip: DON'T USE THE CHASER.
in any given situation where you would think the chaser would be useful, there is always a better choice
No.. that's completely wrong
i only started playing 30 minutes ago but i’m already looking for tutorials
4:53 I have trouble on the snake and bull attack on the slot machine. Ribby and Croak’s 2nd stage is easy with long range weapons. Also, I always mess up with smoke bomb because I always land on an enemy.
Loving this game so far. I only bought it because I had nothing to play, but very glad I picked it up.
Thanks a lot, good tips, I was gonna get the homing shooter first, you've opened my mind
Tips include such nuggets of wisdom as "shoot your gun at the bad guys" and "don't stop shooting your gun at the bad guys"
1:11 Don’t pump your bullets for nothing
1:45 ALWAYS BE SHOOTING
4:54 it’s hard because your facing both when the health bar decreases whether Ribby or croaks is hit
Here are some tips I have found, some might be weird
1) do the tutorial even if you have played the game before, you can always get better at partying and get a free coin
2) go straight for regular mode; doing simple would get your brain used to the easier attacks and might give you bad strategies since some key features are missing in simple mode. You want to have your brain know the harder stuff and get patterns for those
3) Give yourself goals; what I always do is tell the boss I'm fighting "I'm going to ______ by _____!!!!" And then try and do that.
Wow this guy told exactly what the game wants you to learn in the first 3 bosses
roundabout, charge, super I, and smoke bomb is a good set for most of the game. some segments you can swap a weapon for the lobber, and coffee is my recommended charm for aeroplane fights
Here's a tip for the root pack
1: buy the smoke bomb (you'll need it to reduce some damage)
2: in the battle with the potato, dash behind him so he can't hit you. This is an easy way to win the first form without any damage.
3: when fighting the onion, keep firing at his body and just be aware of the tears above you.
4:when fighting the carrot, try you best to eliminate his homing carrots and target his face when he shoots his psychokinetic waves (The triple shot works great if you have it )
5: win
(also, parry onion's pink tears to build your ex-cards and use them when needed)
On another note: change your control settings if you haven't. I personally really like these (xbox 360 controller):
RT-shoot
LT-dash
B-special attack
X-switch weapon
A-jump
LB-lock aim
ALSO!
I would recommend saving your coins so when your ready you can get stuff you need instead of buying one you "think" you need later on
Alright, here's some tips I'd like to add:
1. 5 EX attacks generally will do more damage than one Super 1 or 3.
Excited to go at it with these tips!
It's a great weapon.
you can always use roundabout, just jump so it can come back and hit her.
map your fire to R1 and your super to R2, then map the dash to circle and switch weapon to Triangle.
BEST game it brings back those great old cartoons
