"Magnetize and fork" is my new mantra.
There we go 😂😂😂
Attraction forks were all over the place in this game, bishop sacs included. Very instructional loss, dont be sad, next time we will see them.
That's the spirit! Thanks Albert!
I was so confused why the computer kept wanting you to sacrifice your bishop. Thank you so much for reviewing it. I am still too new to see those things myself. But, hey! Now I know! 😀
Glad it was insightful! :D we're all improving
Hey Owen, despite the loss, you had a good game nonetheless. That Bb6 sac would've been CRAZY!
Haha, yes, but I need to be aware of these kinds of moves and I think that this game I was oblivious to the power of my knight
That check your opponent missed at the start, happened to me yesterday so I was screaming when you did the same thing as I did! 😂 Glad he didn't spot it. We keep going. GGs
We keep going 😂😂😂
good game nonetheless! for me the tough part in fast rapid, like ten minutes no increment, which is almost like blitz in my opinion, is playing fast without calculating much and sticking to basic rules like you said - getting pieces into the middle, keeping the king in safety, castling pretty fast etc.. I find it difficult mainly because of nerves, like 90% nerves 10% skills and knowledge. Maybe going in the game in a more meditated way, with minimal distractions, when you feel relaxed and more confident, can improve seeing these nuances. I try to play more OTB because i feel anxious playing sometimes, it disrupts my game totally, literally lowering my elo by hundreds of points.
waiting for more games!!
Yes... I just found that a lot of people were cheating with 10+5 or 15+10 but I'm not opposed to going back to it and trying. I do like 10 flat though because my opponents can mess up more and I like to take advantage, but yeah... IDKkkkk
Heyo, how can I play your custom puzzles from the woodpecker method? Do I need a special rank or where can I open them?
Hey brother, yeah, you can just search them on the "library" on chess.com, here is a link though: www.chess.com/c/2cpis1Eva
Can your draw arrows on your screen.
You can only do arrows by using a computer/mouse. You right click and can draw
Oh boy that bishop blunder. Classic mistake
Yes hahahah
Cool haircut
