- [Pre-recorded] Romford is situated on the Great Eastern Main Line (GEML) and is served by TfL Rail, London Overground, and Greater Anglia. Here are some of my favourite trainspotting clips from when I recorded my London Overground Class 315 and 710 videos at Romford.

I recently I've started trying to re-create the GEML in roblox and I started with the Romford to Upminster line starting at Romford, I've never actually been there (except passing through on the way to London) but after watching this, another video and using google maps I feel like I've been there before lol Great video as usual, keep up the great work!
Ohhh, nice! What is the game called? Keep it up, sounds good :D
@@allthingstrainzyt1095 It's not out yet but the entrance to Romford is coming along nicely, it will probably be named after the mainline it's based off
POG
🦆
I'm not sure when this was filmed because class 315s don't operate on the Upminster branch line anymore
This was recorded during two separate months - September & October of 2020. I've done two videos on the Romford to Upminster branch line already so I combined my trainspotting clips from both trips, hence why there's both a 315 and 710!
LOL love the rhino
Indeed
Great video! A worthwhile station to film, it’s a shame rolling stock variety is in the process of being reduced however with all the Aventras and FLIRTs coming in.
Thanks for the support - and I do agree with you, it won't be long before its all Aventras and the occasional FLIRT passing through.
@@tothetrains will just have to make sure we all look out for freight trains then!
But with the bulk of the fleet being so old, a modernisation programme has to come sooner or later
315 dated from 1980/1
321 dated from 1988/91
90/DVT was secondhand when they took over from class 86 locomotives in 2005/6(?), secondhand from west coast main line, and they weren't even refurbished when they arrived
The Norwich route was electrified in the 1980s, but it's only now received new trains circa 35 years or more later, rather than cascaded "hand me downs" rolling stock
@@Keithbarber absolutely keith, agreed modernisation is well over due and I am certain customers will much prefer their new, uniform fleet of 720s and 745s to what they had before. The trainspotter in me will just be missing all the different things to be seen!
Agreed!

Just asking can you use Oyster card on Greater Anglia from Romford - Stratford?
Yep, I'm fairly sure of it. It's definitely on the pay as you go map.
