- October would normally see the Avon Valley Railway host their annual End of Season Gala. However, due to the current national crises, like many events up and down the country the gala has been postponed until further notice. So to mark the occasion I've put together this compilation video, featuring some of my highlights my visits to previous years events.

Wow, some spectacular double headers and triple headers there! Brilliant footage, good idea compiling various shots of the different occasions into one video! I don't think anyone would be disappointed with any of those visiting locos, they've certainly made some great choices. I like that rake of wagons and vans, a good length to make each loco work hard! Enjoyed that!
Oh yes, the AVR certainly put on a show! Believe it's the only time I've seen a quadruple header!!! (One loco to each coach too)! :D

Some lovely shots there, I suppose theres one thing you can't avoid of some of those locations, people walking in the way
Is there a gradient there? Or do they just tend to thrash their locos there often?
There is a slight gradient, but not much, think it was all for show at the time :)
