What was the strategy of the Deadguy player in game 2? I cannot understand any of his plays -Casting the time walk seemed particularly weak, especially with a LoA he was trying to bring online. Casting time walk for "Explore" mode (draw a card, put a land in play) is bad unless under extreme pressure -Disenchant on a black lotus is accomplishing what, exactly? If composition A player had a mind twist, he would have cast it *before* the Su-Chi, so you can assume he didn't have it. Otherwise, that player is just delaying his ability to get to 7 cards ASAP (if the strategy wasn't to try and win off the library, then i'm not sure what the point of keeping the Library was) -Dumping hand for black lotus into sinkhole / chaos orb while stranding a Juzam of his own into his hand...yikes...only to die to composition-A Juzam the next turn fun to watch, but wish deadguy player was a bit more skilled
Yes! Brutal carnage as it should be, piling up the graveyards until they're matching the respective library's height. That first game man, awesome. Pure mayhem with an unlikely comeback.
Hey Gandalf, love these videos. I just started getting into the Old School format. Do you guys ever play webcam games? Do you have a discord? I am trying to build a deck and get started. This format is so cool! Always wanted to be able to play the old cards in their own format.
Always a pleasure to watch comp a. And sweet music! Nostalgia kicking in :D
I keep coming back to this match. Game 1 is just so beautiful to watch. :)

Insane comeback there in game one. Looking forward to the next upload!
Great first game Gandalf.
What a comeback on that first round!
What a rollercoaster that first game was!
Oh man...
...What a comeback! Balance was the MVP here, but even then you really fought an uphill battle there. Good show, Gandalf! 😁👍
Game one learns us to NEVER GIVE UP 😁
Fantastic 1st game!!! Go Gandalf!

Game 1 is the stuff of dreams
Yeah - In that case, those would be Underworld Dreams…
Game 1! This is why I don't concede!
Exactly! “It ain’t over ‘till the fat lady sings” as Will said in independence day.
I was there, went 5-2 and ended 12th, both loss to deadguy. Villads and Sune...
Well done!
Let’s go Comp A! Stomp em
Oh for a terravore!
