I totally understand you. The first time I climbed a tree it was as if I had taken a job in another life. From that moment on I never worked again and life continually sent me signs that I was in the right place.
Hi Buckin. I'm a 53 year old male, disabled after catching Covid... (Delta strain)... in late 2020. After a 45 day stay in icu on a breathing machine..having heart valve replacement surgery about a year or so later in 2023..(also from covid). I've been trying to get healthy again, and feel like my old self. The video (the day i almost died) i can really relate to that... that was powerful, and people need hear about life stuggles to heal themself. I've been learning from your videos. One day I googled "how to sharpen chains" So i can keep my stihl MS462 cutting the proper way. And you popped up. And now i watch all your stuff. I've even started building my own vintage axes to keep myself busy in the shop. Being a mechanic all my life, working with my hands is a must..plus its good for the soul. I will use my axes to split the wood i have now from the trees we cleared and bucked on our property here in Oregon. Oak, madrone and fir. Your video are great and your outlook on life is awesome. If we could get the rest of the world to slow down, be kind, and help your fellow man, the world would be a better place. Keep it up buckin and always be kind. Your Friend Jason
Buckin, I'm 48 years old. I've been subscribed from the early days of watching you split wood or make axe handles. Even watched the reassembly of your wood fireplace when it crumbled from you cleaning it up. I feel connected to because of the interest we share with chainsaws or because we are cut from similar cloth. I manifested quit a bit of the wonderful hobbies and work you do yourself. Changes happen naturally and we have the ability to steer ourselves into the direction we choose. So I've been working on showing others how great life can be if we help others around us. We all have the ability to make others smile so do it and watch how neat it is to inspire others to be kind and loving. My parents survived a war and knew nothing other than you make your own destiny. That was mostly the story of our neighbourhood and church so its all I knew. I stopped hiring guys under thirty because they want it easy. I did hire a young guy who banged on the site door after dark seeing me inside and ask for work. I should have retired years ago but me and easy are strangers. Now I'm the biggest complainer on site. Everything hurts. I like watching you make something really hard look easy. Taking care of your neighbour is old school. Proud of you.

Hello Buckin! I'm 59 and an IT professional working in the automotive industry (have been for 30 years). I helped my dad and grandpa when I was a kid clear many trees of his wooded property in northern Michigan (hated it at the time) - he had a little Mcculloch and that thing hurt my ears and covered me with bar oil and sawdust. I grew up at the time (like you) when a kid was expected to work hard and help out when asked. There weren't as many distractions that kids have today (no cell phones, internet, cable TV), you learned how to do things by being taught (and lead) by those around you. Watching your channel got me interested in fixing up dad's old Mcculloch (which I did) and now I have several more (bigger, nicer saws that dad couldn't afford back then). I love working on them in my spare time and bringing them back to life. Sometimes I get to help out a neighbor and actually cut some wood with them. My wife and I love watching you and have respect for your humility and promotion of living life the simple, honest way, being kind and doing for others. I try to do the same, and hope that the younger viewers absorb some of that old-time wisdom. It truly is the best way to live one's life.

I'm a 64 year old semi retired mechanical engineer. spent part of my career at kodak in the film business. I have learned so much from your video's. i have cut at least 12 dead ash trees around the house and barn, and dropped them right where intended. also one cherry tree that was at least 28 inches on the stump. Going to rip some boards out of that one for some projects. Still 3 more large dead ash to go. have built up a collection old Mac's, several stihls, and husky's latest is a 372xp with 32 inch bar. putting a new piston and cylinder on it, to use for those largerash trees. i have been extremely blessed by the knowledge you pass on. always be kind and help others, it will return when you least expect it. also, splitting that wood keeps one healthy! During my working years, I was busy raising my daughter and just holding things together, always on the move. When I retired I let things slide, just drifting along for a while without a plan, and it cost me, physically and spiritually. You’re absolutely right, sitting on the sidelines will get you nowhere. I had to decide who I wanted to be for the rest of my life. I realized what I wanted most was to make the world a friendlier place and help my daughter find her path to happiness and contentment. I'm here in Pittsburgh hoping to find a hack drummer that plays like Buckin... 69 years old and still rocking out my hack music. When i was young and saw Elvis and the Beatles on Ed Sullivan show i imagined that i could do that... after being in several bands and numerous girl friends and numerous jobs I've settled down into a shack in the hollow 4 doors up from that house i lived in 50 years ago. I’m a 65 year old research scientist, loving what I do. Intending at least 5 more years if the cancer lets me. Pretty sure after a year I have beaten it. After trying for 32 years, had to leave my ex-wife 13 years ago, as she revelled in negativity. I’ve found a wonderful woman who is kind as the day is long. I cut my own firewood for my cottage and have learned quite a bit from your videos. Upgraded to a long bar couple of years ago and helped save my back. Just this week I purchased a tourniquet to keep with me while cutting. Heard some nasty stories of kick back injuries. I do mostly use my chaps, but having good first aid kit can save a life. Would love to see a video of yours on safety gear. Might help some of the younger “ indestructible “ viewers out there 😊. Keep up the good work.

I have found that in life as hard as we try to plan for something to happen, it very seldom happens when we want it to but it eventually does come. I believe we receive the gifts in life when we're supposed to. To answer your question, we can manifest our fate. If you're intensions are good and pure you will eventually manifest a good place to be. You will always have roadblocks along the way. If those roadblocks causes you to lose your good and pure intensions, the the manifestation will be horrible, but if you continue with positivity and purity you will eventually manifest a wonderful place to be.
Love your channel Billy Ray, your philosophy is spot on. Life is what you make of it and theres no going back! We've all had our ups and downs but the main thing is we learn from it and move forward in a direction that will foster happiness for us and our families friends etc. The day we hang up our boots its over, too many retiree's fade away in just a handful of years. Im a 58 yo boilermaker and its tough going now, but the brain never stops so i work smarter and still run rings around the younger folk. The best part about that is passing on your knowledge as you are doing, you are doing it brilliantly. Ive never been happier, sure the bones acke but thats life. Ive been cutting firewood for a long time, had 13 saws at one point but lost everything and started again now i have 5 saws all cheap kit saws but its great fun. Ive learnt so much watching your channel and Ironhorse, Tinman etc that im slowly building up my saws as i can afford and am slowly turning to your sharpening methods. I started manifesting greatness in my life when i quit my job, and started my own business. That was just 2 years ago now, and ive felt incredibly proud of what ive achieved in that time. I can now single handedly support my family. I just had to take 3 weeks off, for a minor surgery. And for the first time in my life. That WASNT an issue. I dont comment often. To me manifestation gets wrapped up in a dream, I think often times people take it too literally and just think about this thing they want. If you want something you’ve gotta go out and get it, you’ve gotta work for it, you’ve gotta fail at it and learn so you can succeed and make it what you want.

Hey buckin another great video been watching you awhile im a gas tech/pipe,tank installer had an eye opener last yr had a heart attack out of nowhere had to have quadruple bypass open heart surgery last yr got lucky no damage to heart im all healed up and right back at work had a rough road ahead but just have to keep grinding it out im 50yrs old now and loving life since i got a second chance at it being with my beautiful wife who was by my side and 4 amazing kids so i know what its like to get knocked down and to get up again yer neighbor looks great and yer a great neighbor and friend yer video’s were very inspiring to me when i was down and out recovering thank you for all you do be humble and kind over and out

One of the things that's manifested in my life is more work. Rest is OK and I'm not wanting to sit down on my you know what, you can see I got my woodman shirts and chain saw. I have the remains of this huge tree that I've been cutting and removing by hand with techniques that I've learned from you Bucking Billy Ray. I still watch every now and then it's been a very hard two years for me I lost my wife last July I'm 66 years old and I'm not quitting I'm going to continue bucking wood And be the best I can be

Years ago I fixed weed eaters, leaf blowers & mowers that people tossed away if they wouldn’t start etc… One day the neighbor across the street said “can ya fix the surging on mine”? I said yeah, I’ll have it done later today. Generally I had a FCFS order if someone brought something needing fixed but since he was a neighbor & i knew it’d be a quick fix, a couple hours later & at 1/3 shop rate fee he had a running mower.

I’m a 50 something year old factory worker who is dedicated to my family and has the wonderful hobby of cutting wood. My gorgeous hardworking wife saved me 20 years ago so I’m spending the rest of my life returning the favor, she’s my super hero. During my working years, I was busy raising my daughter and just holding things together, always on the move. When I retired I let things slide, just drifting along for a while without a plan, and it cost me, physically and spiritually. You’re absolutely right, sitting on the sidelines will get you nowhere.
I had to decide who I wanted to be for the rest of my life. I realized what I wanted most was to make the world a friendlier place and help my daughter find her path to happiness and contentment. So that is where my life is going now. Spread the kindness.

I’m a 65 year old research scientist, loving what I do. Intending at least 5 more years if the cancer lets me. Pretty sure after a year I have beaten it. After trying for 32 years, had to leave my ex-wife 13 years ago, as she revelled in negativity. I’ve found a wonderful woman who is kind as the day is long. I cut my own firewood for my cottage and have learned quite a bit from your videos. Upgraded to a long bar couple of years ago and helped save my back.
Just this week I purchased a tourniquet to keep with me while cutting. Heard some nasty stories of kick back injuries. I do mostly use my chaps, but having good first aid kit can save a life. Would love to see a video of yours on safety gear. Might help some of the younger “ indestructible “ viewers out there 😊.

I have found that in life as hard as we try to plan for something to happen, it very seldom happens when we want it to but it eventually does come. I believe we receive the gifts in life when we're supposed to. To answer your question, we can manifest our fate. If you're intensions are good and pure you will eventually manifest a good place to be. You will always have roadblocks along the way. If those roadblocks causes you to lose your good and pure intensions, the the manifestation will be horrible, but if you continue with positivity and purity you will eventually manifest a wonderful place to be.

Love your channel Billy Ray, your philosophy is spot on. Life is what you make of it and theres no going back! We've all had our ups and downs but the main thing is we learn from it and move forward in a direction that will foster happiness for us and our families friends etc. The day we hang up our boots its over, too many retiree's fade away in just a handful of years. Im a 58 yo boilermaker and its tough going now, but the brain never stops so i work smarter and still run rings around the younger folk. The best part about that is passing on your knowledge as you are doing, you are doing it brilliantly. Ive never been happier, sure the bones acke but thats life.
Ive been cutting firewood for a long time, had 13 saws at one point but lost everything and started again now i have 5 saws all cheap kit saws but its great fun. Ive learnt so much watching your channel and Ironhorse, Tinman etc that im slowly building up my saws as i can afford and am slowly turning to your sharpening methods. I started manifesting greatness in my life when i quit my job, and started my own business. That was just 2 years ago now, and ive felt incredibly proud of what ive achieved in that time. I can now single handedly support my family. I just had to take 3 weeks off, for a minor surgery. And for the first time in my life. That WASNT an issue. I dont comment often. But your videos, and your energy are an incredible inspiration to me. Love ya buckin. Ill scream hi at ya one of these days driving down the road!

To me manifestation gets wrapped up in a dream, I think often times people take it too literally and just think about this thing they want. If you want something you’ve gotta go out and get it, you’ve gotta work for it, you’ve gotta fail at it and learn so you can succeed and make it what you want.

Hey buckin another great video been watching you awhile im a gas tech/pipe,tank installer had an eye opener last yr had a heart attack out of nowhere had to have quadruple bypass open heart surgery last yr got lucky no damage to heart im all healed up and right back at work had a rough road ahead but just have to keep grinding it out im 50yrs old now and loving life since i got a second chance at it being with my beautiful wife who was by my side and 4 amazing kids so i know what its like to get knocked down and to get up again yer neighbor looks great and yer a great neighbor and friend yer video’s were very inspiring to me when i was down and out recovering thank you for all you do be humble and kind over and out

One of the things that's manifested in my life is more work. Rest is OK and I'm not wanting to sit down on my you know what, you can see I got my woodman shirts and chain saw. I have the remains of this huge tree that I've been cutting and removing by hand with techniques that I've learned from you Bucking Billy Ray. I still watch every now and then it's been a very hard two years for me I lost my wife last July I'm 66 years old and I'm not quitting I'm going to continue bucking wood And be the best I can be

Years ago I fixed weed eaters, leaf blowers & mowers that people tossed away if they wouldn’t start etc… One day the neighbor across the street said “can ya fix the surging on mine”? I said yeah, I’ll have it done later today. Generally I had a FCFS order if someone brought something needing fixed but since he was a neighbor & i knew it’d be a quick fix, a couple hours later & at 1/3 shop rate fee he had a running mower.
