The gold border presumably refers to synthesising a D rank without using a D rank.
The trunk means that come back after an hour has passed of grabbing the item from it to grab the next item and once all hourly items has been claimed those items will be refilled to claim again hourly

I'll be honest, outside of maybe growth rates, the rank don't matter too much as one might think, if you find one with a ability that works really well for what you looking for, you can just re-synth that back to itself in order to keep building up till you find one that will actually effectively replace it. I didn't see rank mattering till about C-B and that's only cause by then, growth will matter more then, along with finally reaching a point stat cap starts to happen (the number will be like a orange-ish red on the stat page from the look of it)
The eggs may seem not that great at first but there a few exclusive egg monsters along with some really good talents that can make your monsters even more powerful than usual. the talents alone might be more than worth the trouble if you're lucky enough, but some of the exclusive leads to some good synthesis.
mild spoiler for my LP, but my DPS was an E rank mon lol. Like final boss team, was like a B, E, D and C if i recall lol.
You can get them I find 10 rounds of damage with maxed food then scout but seems like i needed to deal a certain amount of damage before they will even look at the food
I recruited the indulgence upper echelon area boss today. But with 4 level 100s after dealing thousands of damage. The fight was easy i was just curious to test it
Zone bosses was easier to smash them until they want to join
The area you’re in at 5:48 is in the demo cause I have explored that area and I only have the demo right now I would love to get the deluxe game but it’s too expensive for me at the moment

Soo yeah it is... It kinda expands to S and X rank monsters but also if you got an S rank you unlock the Large and Small levels which has monsters with 50 levels but still...
Also the boss mini monsters you need to scout them manually... They never gotten up again for me soo yeah...
the area boss monsters can get up for you, I got the gold scorpion to do that in the middle ech of caprice

I'm 94% into completing my monsterpedia and have all the levels unlocked. Is there an easier way to get a certain monster to spawn aside from scouting or defeating every monster on that level?
So I watched this while going into the mole hole myself. I've never seen a large monster and so far it seems it's far better to catch monsters in the wild if they are easy to find. But I got an item for catching 5 monsters. So maybe that's interesting to look into?
Try catching 100 in 1 run through the molehole for 20 odd different rewards
A lot of people i've heard synthesize at level 10. Or maybe just a bit more to get some extra talent points. Is there an optimal level when it's best to synthesize? Also, how much of it will actually carry over to the final A-tier or S-tier monster since you also get slightly better stats the higher level synethized monster. Maybe you can do a video showing the same A or S-tier monster where it was synthesized through level 10 vs one that was brought up to level 40 or something?
25 seems a good level
I think it really depends on how easily you can level up.
At the beginning it's a good idea to start fusing when you can, but as you keep going you'll get levels much easier in shorter timespans, and at that point holding on to certain things for a little longer should be worth it to get better stats from the get-go.

You're already a paid player buying the game. It's just a short cut for those willing to spend, but it does help the community by giving the rest information on the perfect build. If you purchased the deluxe on Nintendo store, all the dlc is included.

Do you have to unlock eggs? I beat the Cake area and have not seen a single egg.
Eggs unlock with the story. I first started seeing them in the middle echelon areas then started seeing them elsewhere.

STOP FAST FORWARD
Scouting Large Monsters without the Mole Hole is truly _miserable,_ and after waffling for days, I decided the game is a massive disappointment without it. It's kind of a crude slap patch; it needs an update to shuffle the encounters instead of exiting and reentering hundreds of times for something of a good size _that you also successfully Scout._ I'm enjoying the game a lot more now, but trying to get the biggest possible Monsters in your preferred size category anywhere in the first 20 hours is still really rough. It's also very clear that the sizes tend towards *incredibly* small-far smaller than possible in the wild.
Looks like my boy Dhoulmagus didn’t make it in….
