The song is a cover song. The Original was released shortly after WWI and the Spanish flu. (It remained popular until the 50th.) Most families in Germany had suffered from losses and loosing a loved one was something well known. On the cover of this version there is a image of the corona virus. If you watch the intro and end of the video it shows some repeating a endless cycle. And again an the world is struck by a deadly pandemic.
This song was written 100 Years ago and was very popular later during WW2 to comfort the people. In my opinion Till represents the addiction/sin, thats why the puppet laughed when he hung himself. He got rid of him. Unfortunately he met him again.
This song was really popular in Germany during the WW2. Notice the people looking to the sealing/sky and the flashing lights - this is the air attack during the war. You can also hear the bombs falling when he opens the door.
I get it that the whole rammstein /till lindemann reactions are always about heavy topics that can make you feel inconfortable and or sad but the way this music sounds, the stories portrayed, it's genius.
This video was directed by Zoran Bihac - who had already amazed us with "Rosenrot", "Mein Herz Brennt" and the epic "Mein Teil". Another journey into the dark night of the soul, where others fear to tread...
"alle tage ist kein sonntag" was composed in the 1920ies and was a popular song (schlager) in germany til the fifties. it was titletrack of two movies, one from 1935 and one from 1959.
The song is a german traditional from East Prussians (Ost Preusen) that are mainly parts of Poland today. It is 1st mentioned in a songbook from 1924 (so after WW1 and spanish flu pandamic). The lyrics are slightly different to later known interpretations done e.g. Marlene Dietrich ( ua-cam.com/video/M5Ql6voNjJ0/v-deo.html ), Heino, Karel Gott etc.
It became well known song in the Post WW2 post years in Germany
Hi :) first I want to say thank you. I loved this song already long before Till and David covered it. But I love this version most. In my opinion Tills voice matches perfect with the violin. This song is originally from 1922 and was very popular during WW2 and the time after. My grandma used to sing it often. I'm not sure what meaning the puppet has in this video too 🤔 but maybe I'll find an answer sometime. So thank you for this great reaction and sorry if there are mistakes in my text, I'm not that good at english writing 😁 PS: I'm sorry for your loss (I know how hard it is to lose a loved one to suicide), and I hope that song didn't make you feel sad.
My interpretation of the video is that he is a fallen artist. The puppet represents his legacy (the music he made during his lifetime), He is abusing himself, puppet feels liberated after death. He committed suicide. He only saw death before he did it. Part of him lives after and brings life and joy to others. And it has the theme of a old song, Perhaps references to the time of original song.
I think he lost his family and friends and He made the puppets in their place. So the puppets represent the familymembers he wants to join. And in his loneliness he drinks and shoots up as he waits for death (and sharing some alcohol with his puppet buddy). And the rope really broke, so in the end he was fine and got back to drinking. So the dancing with the dead part was near death experience or something alike. These are just my guesses
Please react to "spiel mit mir" from Rammstein. I'm curious if you unterstand the lyrics, because there are quite a lot metaphors. And the song is amazing too
That sounds like a typical "Viennese song" to me. We Viennese have always been very "morbid" when it comes to our folk songs. In ancient times, the Viennese chose and paid for his grave before he died. This is true!
first of all, you pronounce the title really well, respect! honestly, i like the video more than the song. of course, till´s voice is great as always but the song is 100 years old and you can hear that. it´s a lindemann-project and this projects are always a little bit different :)
Since I can't comment on the official video I want to sort of post my theory on what the video not the song the video is could actually be about also if you don't know much about ghosts and the paranormal you may not understand this so anyways in the video till and everyone in the room are spirits and they are residual energy which means and correct me if I'm wrong means they are in a infinit loop forced to repeat their last moments over and over again till walks on stage plays the song then dies a long with everyone else then but since spirits are in a loop their time and actions can sometimes be missed placed it maybe day time in the real world but infinitely night whatever time it was when they died that's what time it stays so here's how the video actually goes till walks out after parting with the people in the bar and goes back stage and takes drugs and drinks then goes on stage and plays the song when the song is over till and the rest hang them selves and repeat why do they hang them selves well they are in a middle of a war most likely WW2 they hang them selves so they won't be captured or killed so there that's my theory it's a long one and hopefully it makes some what since
I love the way you just apreciate the song and don't try to bring the attention on yourself. You just seem humble and yet you always have something smart or interesting to say. I'd love you to do a reaction to a Dir en Grey song. It's a japanese band with an incredible singer, there's a lot to say about their live performances. Here's a link to their masterpiece, Vinushka : ua-cam.com/video/8W0h2yht6IA/v-deo.html They made several other songs that are worth a reaction video, just check these 2 out : ua-cam.com/video/Pqe-PHTi56Y/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/sU01sEamws4/v-deo.html

Perfect reaction to a Till song.
“I don’t know what it all means”, sitting open mouthed and speechless and mesmerized.
Brilliant reaction man, what a brilliant song.

Please react to „ohne dich“ from Rammstein. It‘s so Beautyful.
I love your Rammstein reactions 🖤
If you love the style of music? I love Lindemann "Ach so gerne" and Max Raabe % sein Palastorchester it´s Comedian Harmonist in modern style
Ja Max Raabe! Sehr guter Musiker
@@anital.1574 er ist ein super Sänger und die Band ist großartig.
he is a super singer and the band is great

Gute Idee!
''Und schüttel mir das Laub vom Baum''
How'd you translate that it's a perfect metaphor 😂

I know, not about his music, but Till made also some lyrical books.
a short part which can be inserted in some kind of interpretation: once till dies, he meets his memories.

This is a very old song . i think even before World war one. In Europe we have a lott of songs like this. All from wars or tradities. ☺
You also should see it from Marlene Dietrich
The puppet in this Musikvideo was the smartes i think..
👏👏
Ach so gerne by Lindemann is also a beautifull song, not so positive though...
lol
Wo bist du -Rammstein
How about "praise abort" from the Lindemann Projekt. Its very critical
Please react to puppe live by rammstein, thank you
