Your results are impressive! I applied almost three decades ago, and I really feel for today's students. The landscape is so difficult and the emotional roller coaster seems relentless. When you get a moment, replay what your father said before you opened your Ivy day 2 decisions. He is a wise man, he is proud of you, and he loves you.
Thank you so much sir! It really means a lot and I appreciate the kind words! And yes, I love my dad and my family so much…really grateful to have grown up in a very supportive environment!
You guys seem so laid-back and like genuine and kind people, very chill. You seem to be a great family! And it's so encouraging to see this as a senior
13:56 -- "It is with genuine regret.... Others had fake regret." Funny! It was very smart of you to make your younger sister the co-star of the video. I have watched hundreds (yes, hundreds--I keep a list of the results) of college decision reaction videos and she is in my Top 10 Funniest and Most Memorable list of participants. As the director, casting director, and editor of the video, you deserve credit for making the overall result entertaining and even moving. Congratulations!
penn is GREAT place to go to school. I bounced around: columbia, swarthmore, penn. Penn was HANDS DOWN the best environment. best profs. diverse view points. much diversity in programs. GO.
Northwestern was actually my dream school! Wasn’t even planning on applying to Penn, just happened on a whim…very happy here and glad things worked out :)
totally ok! everyone has a different pathway ahead of them, so don't worry...if things don't work out, but you still want to go to school, community college is a great, cheap way to knock out base requirements before transferring to another school, or technical schools can also be extremely valuable...if you need any help feel free to reach out!
You’ll applied to Stanford, UCLA and Berkeley but not USC?!? Boooo! Seriously though, congratulations on UPenn!! I wish you the best there from a Trojan alumni! ✌🏻
Hahaha I appreciate it! I really wanted to apply, loved the Trojan Marching Band/Sports, but the USC application was much later than the other applications and I was unfortunately very burned out
Application advice: just be yourself; every single one of you is personable in your own special way, so let your personality shine on your application; show your passions for international studies and the issues that affect people globally, as well as an interest in business; huntsman kids are all very well rounded between social life, academics, sports, etc…show the different things that make you tick!
The gospel is good news when we understand that we do not (and cannot) earn our salvation; the work of redemption and justification is complete, having been finished on the cross (John 19:30). Jesus is the propitiation for our sins (1 John 2:2). The gospel is the good news that we, who were once enemies of God, have been reconciled by the blood of Christ and adopted into the family of God (Romans 5:10; John 1:12). “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” (1 John 3:1). The gospel is the good news that “there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1).
Penn has a bunch of dual degree programs…I’m in the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business! (BA in International Studies and a BS in Economics)
