Brother, I just opened my Super Rock Rey today. It is my absolute dream RC, too. I wanted it forever. The driveline components on these two are so massive. They're just awesome. Rock Rey's not quite as durable, but I have my Lunsford titanium turnbuckles ready to go! Video should be up tomorrow, if I can get some running footage. I tried my GoPro head mount for the first time today and got 5 minutes of my feet while I marveled at the Super Rock Rey, LOL! Congrats on the stupendous new toy!

Although I love the SBR2.0 and own 2 of them, they are by no means bashers. The drawback of this RC is the 25lb weight and part availability. The Arrma Mojave, although not scale is one that my 5 year old drove full throttle through an embankment, through a metal fence that we had to pry out and all it did to it was scratch it 😂

What’s up alan! Thanks for being here! I haven’t seen a SBR over heat yet. Ironically the driveshafts do get hot. It seems that the gearing and motor KV is matched up very well on this model. I doubt that you will even need motor fans. However if you’re concerned my remedy for this is replacing the fan in the spectrum ESC with a 35mm protek fan. In my opinion the best ESC fan on the market. I do this with all my BLX and Spectrum ESCs. Hope this helps I will be running both SBRs on the channel soon. One in each color for some racing rubbing on the track. Building my track up bigger for some Losi air time. 🤙🏼☢️
@@alangavrie8605 I’ve ran both of mine in really hot weather and never overheated it did once when grass clippings clogged the motor though! The motor got super hot that I just went ahead and got the 55 mm bracket and 2 40mm fans to just play it safe, it can’t hurt.

by chance does the sbr 2.0 ever get really hot or potentially overheat? i live in pretty hot climates and wanna know if this truck can handle it
