@@soursimpsons If that is true, my own theory may make a bit more sense. You see, Springfield, or at least the land Springfield is on, was always a hub for chaotic magic and eldritch beings. If Hans Moleman was born in the 1600s, he could have been one of the original settlers, pretending he was the descendant of the original Hans Moleman. The mole fortress may have been older than humanity, and the mole people were the actual ancestors of humans. Also, the reason Hans Moleman is seen so many times but dies is because the real Hans Moleman, being so ancient, knows about Springfield's chaotic nature and all the Hans Molemen living in Springfield are prisoners sent there to die.
personally, i'm a fan of the idea that hans moleman was part of a government supersoldier program that made him age rapidly it'd explain how he survives so much bodily harm, too
Plus, if he’s a supersoldier, he’s also probably a clone (cue image of him sans belly button?) and the flashbacks are just earlier copies of the molem/e/n
So you're saying that he is 31 but aged rapidly as the result of a government experiment? That idea could work except that there are those flashbacks of Hans many years ago in this video. .
He also said in one episode that no one was gay for moleman but in a previous episode he was in a gay club(But he didn't know he was) where a gay men took him.

I think the "Simpsons Gene" is just an example of the "Nocebo Effect". That's basically the Placebo Effect's evil twin where the mere suggestion of negative effects causes someone to experience them. Basically, when a Simpson boy starts experiencing any difficulty in school, he's taught about the "Simpson Gene" by an elder. That causes them to struggle more and eventually give up because they're convinced they're dumber than they actually are. That or one of Professor Frink's experiments put the entire town in a quantum state where it exists in all years and all US states at the same time. That would explain how Homer could drive Ned to Las Vegas in a matter of hours at most in one episode and then have a guy sail a ship to New York City im under a day in another episode. It would also explain how Homer could be a kid in the 60s and in the 90s.
There have been several different scenerios shown on how Homer lost his hair, and each contradict each other. 1) In "And Maggie makes three", there's flashback of Homer tearing more of his hair out each time he learned Marge was pregnant. He tore some out when told she's pregnant with Bart and all the rest when told about pregnant with Lisa. 2) In another episode, there's that flashback of Homer getting an experimental vaccine from the army where he's told the vaccine's side effects include loss of equilibrium, giddiness, and hair loss. But Homer insists on getting it anyway. And in the following present scene with bald Homer, he falls to the ground and laughs in a silly way. 3) In "Brother can spare two dimes?", there's a flashback scene during 1985 Hands across America where Homer has hair just on the sides of his head, which occure during male pattern baldness, and which wouldn't happen from that army vaccine, and Bart and Lisa are present so this male pattern baldness idea also contradicts Homer tearing all of his hair out when learning Marge was pregnant with both Bart and Lisa

The different molemen just get onto the surface at different ages (and most of them end up dying horribly).

That's not the only mystery surrounding the Moleman. Take a look at his skin color. Sometimes he's yellow, and other times he's brownish. What gives? And then there's the fact that we've seen him die multiple times. Or that he's apparently been seen among the mole people, possibly serving as their king. I'm starting to think there is no individual named Hans Moleman and that he's not actually human. He is a mole person, or rather a Moleman, and "Hans" happens to be the name of his or rather THEIR particular people's kingdom/dynasty/clan. They have been infiltrating the human world with the intent to take it over, posing as humans. The reason they all look the same, minus the skin color, is purely because they all look the same to our human eyes, similar to how we can't tell the difference between individual birds, snakes, monkeys, wolves, and so on.
I think Hans was trying to teach people a lesson, like a warning about the dangers of alcohol, pretending to only be 31 to try and scare people straight.
There are three Molemen. Moleman I is 88 and worked with Grampa. Moleman II is 70 and is living at the Retirement Castle and was originally the mayor. Moleman III is 31 and drinking has ruined his life.
I think Hans in reality is at least 70 years old. He got one of his license cards with a 1961 birth certificate to lie about his age. He also lied about being 31.
Maybe there are multiple Molemans. There actually is an episode of multiple ones. I think Hans is lying just to be in the senior home, and play outside when all the adults had a curfew.
one thing I think is sus is the geography of springfield, it keeps changing. For example in barts girlfriend they go down that massive hill but then it is just gone
Haha yeah, I'll do a springfield video at some point, but I'd rather focus on specific stuff... like where is moe's tavern in relation to the simpsons house?
@@soursimpsons awesome! Another thing is in the stonecutters, it shows the Simpsons house’s backyard right next to the plant, might just be a plot device or something else…
Suggestion for a Simpsons mystery: The origins of the boat painting. There has been many claims in the show. Some say Lisa painted it. Some say Marge painted it. In one episode they have a closet full of the same painting. I think in one episode Marge says it came with the house.
I would like you to do a theory of the many times characters are shown with peach skin in The Simpsons, mainly focusing on the Peanuts appearances as those are the most amount of times characters are shown with Peach Skin?
Well for exhibit B you are technically correct but remember this is the Simpsons universe the same universe where Homer was mistaken for Cornelius. Even though Cornelius was an old man none of the employees questioned it. Even though they (I say they but really it's just the one employee the red haired nurse we see so often) should know who Homer is as he had to have been seen by the employees before grampa mistook Homer for Cornelius. It wasn't until the real Cornelius showed up that the nurse finally asked the question who was this guy then?
I'm reading some interesting comments, but how about something simple and not far reaching. Amnesia can prevent you from storing new memories. A fair chance that a head trauma or training Homer one too many times had his brain stuck at age 31. Another less likely, but possible option is a rare form of Alzheimer's/Dementia called Pick's Disease or FTD (Frontotemporal Disease). The common age range is 40-65, however there have been cases in the literature of people under 25 getting the disease, with the youngest being 14. Something to consider...
We saw the moleman layer in one episode. So Hans moleman could be a moleman and there could be multiple of the same looking person. They also done scenes where he's like supposed to be dead but he's still alive. Also one episodes the retirement home had a sports day and you can see him with his dad. Also we have seen more family members and relatives.
A human year is the equivalent of about 12 mole years, so if Hans is 31 human years old, then he's the mole equivalent of at least 377.
Haha so he was born in the 1600's... it makes sense!

@@soursimpsonsyes I am
I'm gay for Moleman
Haha I've covered the skin color in another video! Check it out
I think Hans was trying to teach people a lesson, like a warning about the dangers of alcohol, pretending to only be 31 to try and scare people straight.
Haha or maybe he's just drunk again.
In the case of the old folks home, he goes there to visit his dad.
Haha, that makes sense.
To be honest, this is how old I felt when I hit 31.
I just turned 34 on christmas,I started feeling my age I guess at 30
I'll be 25 forever!!
It's like investigating a peanut.
😂😂👍
I do know he's suppose to be Kenny in the Simpsons Universe. Though it's still funny how Homer is still the Kenny of the Dark Simpsons Universe
🤭👍
I want to know about Willies parents, especially his dad. He said his dad was buried in a swamp but later he meets him in Scotland
Haha the idea is already in the notebook!
There are three Molemen. Moleman I is 88 and worked with Grampa. Moleman II is 70 and is living at the Retirement Castle and was originally the mayor. Moleman III is 31 and drinking has ruined his life.
Haha, all from the fortress of the mole
you should do a video on the history of clones in Springfield. For example, one episode had 2 Moe's appearing in the same shot.
Haha, i've got a moe clone video already in the works!
I think Hans in reality is at least 70 years old. He got one of his license cards with a 1961 birth certificate to lie about his age. He also lied about being 31.
Makes sense lol
Hans Moleman is an anagram for "melon shaman" so clearly his spirituality makes him age differently.
Haha! It finally makes sense
0:57 No TV and No Beer makes Homer go crazy
Doan Mine Iffeyedoo!
Haha does whiskey count as beer?
@@soursimpsonsWhiskey is a different type of alcohol
Well that solves that mystery he's not 31 of course.
Haha of course not
Maybe Hans Moleman is an alien like from Bart Vs. The Space Mutants. We've never seen him with our special sunglasses on!!
It makes sense! Moleman doesnt look like anyone else in the simpsons universe
A wizard did it.
It's the only explanation!
Maybe there are multiple Molemans. There actually is an episode of multiple ones. I think Hans is lying just to be in the senior home, and play outside when all the adults had a curfew.
Haha, the fortress of the mole!
Maybe the 31 year old was the old Moleman's son with the same name.
Lol, they have shown his family before... that may be a good idea for a future video!
i really have for you idea the idea is eddie can talk or no
Officer Eddie? He talks all the time
oh but many times i saw him not talking maybe he have a twin brother just like dr.nick@@soursimpsons
one thing I think is sus is the geography of springfield, it keeps changing.
I think RealJims kinda answered this question already.
Oh? I didnt catch that video...
Suggestion for a Simpsons mystery:
The origins of the boat painting. There has been many claims in the show. Some say Lisa painted it. Some say Marge painted it. In one episode they have a closet full of the same painting. I think in one episode Marge says it came with the house.
Scene from Moby Dick?
Haha yeah, i'm actually working on a video and came across the episode where lisa is painting it. But I like the idea, i'll add it to my notebook.
I would like you to do a theory of the many times characters are shown with peach skin in The Simpsons, mainly focusing on the Peanuts appearances as those are the most amount of times characters are shown with Peach Skin?
Hmmm... i cant really recall any others
@@soursimpsons Just look up moments where Peach Skinned People appear in the show.
And another mystery: does Hans Moleman have the power of resurrection just like Kenny from South Park does? How many times has he died in the show?
Haha will definitely get to this in a future video
I always thinked Hans was in his 90's and senile af
Haha it's possible that everything he says is untrue because he's senile.
I never believed the 31 years old thing to be true and still believe he is very old.
Yeah haha, made no sense but was hilarious
Or maybe there are two Hans? One 31 years old, and his grandfather of the same name?
Haha and they look exactly the same?
Clothed Graggle just looks cursed.
Haha, naked graggle isnt musch better 🤣
Maybe his age was a distraction to see how gay everyone is for Moleman.
Nobodys gay for moleman! 🤣
Haha good ole Cornelius, great episode!
I mean, it was an AA meeting. Maybe years of alcohol made him forget. That drill to the brain couldn't have been helping, either...
Haha yeah, or maybe he was brainwashed again lol
I'm reading some interesting comments, but how about something simple and not far reaching. Amnesia can prevent you from storing new memories. A fair chance that a head trauma or training Homer one too many times had his brain stuck at age 31. Another less likely, but possible option is a rare form of Alzheimer's/Dementia called Pick's Disease or FTD (Frontotemporal Disease). The common age range is 40-65, however there have been cases in the literature of people under 25 getting the disease, with the youngest being 14. Something to consider...
Haha i like the amnesia idea. Might be a good idea for a future video
Nobody escapes the fortress of the mole!
