* I didn't make it clear that the strobes worked as they should for the images in this video, apart from the very first one.
Using some cheap close up filters with the pentax 6x7. Shot with Portra 160. I only just realised how bad the microphone is on the canon m50 so i'll be sorting that out soon.

Those close-up diopter lenses degrade image quality quite a bit, and you never, ever, combine them. They work acceptably for most folks if you shut down your lens aperture to 5.6 or smaller. A better result is had if extension tube(s) are used instead. Note that Pentax made one high-quality close-up diopter lens with several elements. It's pretty rare and would probably cost used about $75. A full set of extension tubes should cost less. Note that the leaf shutter lens he is using is not required to do flash work unless you are shooting in daylight and using fill-flash (which he is not).

I just checked and the +2 filter is out of stock, but i think any +2 filter will give the same/similar results
