At 1:51 one of the athletes does a DOUBLE BACKFLIP!! That's INSANE!!! They pulled off level 7 skills and some that aren't even allowed in all star cheerleading! This team is INCREDIBLE and did this entire routine in masks!
That double back was insane! Especially since it's on a dead mat.

When Howie implied that he didn’t think it was better than last time I threw my phone and yelled at him! This routine isn’t even a level!!! This was beyond anything I have ever seen!!!

just for non cheerleaders to understand, their first performance was level 6 with some level 5 skills and some level 7 skills... most skills in this routine are not allowed in any levels they innovated and invented skills JUST for this routine

@@glukoagkalitsas Allstar cheer, which is what they are, don't allow for backtuck baskets, full baskets, etc. Collegiate level cheer will, but not allstar cheer. Because they were on a show they were able to do it, it would be illegal for a normal allstar routine. Putting a stunt on top of a stunt is also not something allstar cheer is able to do legally. They went above and beyond allstar cheer. The skills they threw were harder than all or most college routines.
Why do I always get a little annoyed when they give feedback? I need some cheerleaders on screen to explain to the rest of the world how insanely good this was! I need some energy
Like, they legit created level 8... I'd say let's petition to make this a thing, but knowing USASF, they'll soon be banning double fulls for anyone under the age of 70 because tHeY aRe ToO dAnGeRoUs. Yes, I'm still salty about how they did Youth 5 dirty 8 years ago.

Yes! Allstar is amazing! I go to ca and I love it there and yes they do make it look easy, from a junior prep member, it’s not at all!
My favorite thing about this team being able to show off their skills outside of a competition setting is that they get to throw all of the restrictions out the window! It makes for a more eye catching and jaw dropping routine, and they’re truly able to push the limits of their athletic capabilities. What I’m saying is, I love what they are doing and this is unlike anything I’ve seen in cheer, in the best way!!!

A little annoyed at the comment about “like athletes” there is no like here people!” They are! This is the best of the best they have all worked incredibly hard and trained there whole lives to be at this level! Just as every athlete does! This is cheerleading!
No one will ever understand the hard work, long hours, the skills, and the talent goes into all star cheerleading until you’ve been involved in it! By far my absolute favorite! Go wildcats!
This wasn’t enough for him??! Yeah okay let’s just keep raving over the mediocre singers every single season just cause they’re young. That seems to be the only acts people want to see now🙄 these are strong and powerful ATHLETES. And yes this can be made into long shows. Just like cirque or when the women’s Olympic team did a tour.
This is perhaps the most WOW cheer routine I've ever seen and I've been in the industry for a decade now. Lots of the stuff they did is so dangerous it is straight up BANNED in competitions. Howie needs to slow down on alcohol, clearly.
I know, it gets me, he doesn't want to say anything bad about kids even if they can't sing but then these guys are amazing and he's super critical.
Any body else catch that? 3:43 listen closely you hear Howie go “I’ve been judging a lot longer than you” to Sophia. He’s been bothering me lately
I heard it too and I got so triggered, that’s literally the only reason that I’m in the comment section right now
I think he's drinking more or something because of the covid think he's upset to be honest. It really gets to me that, his critical judging of the acts erroneously, is what's affecting the outcome in a negative way. Last time, he thought everyone was great and the acts that were the best got through. The time before he was super critical and I swear they missed 3 great acts in the lineup. Sometimes, I think he thinks he's going to try to be like Simon and sees him as critical but the thing is that when it comes to this point Simon usually doesn't say too much because he knows it's America's vote. He also usually says, it's not up to me it's up to America. I think that he said something like this two episodes back to. He criticized Keenan's choice and saying that someone was precise and he said that he didn't know what precise was when he saw this other act they were precise. I totally disagreed! That was one of the best dancing acts I had seen and I'm always watching world of dance. Then what happened? That act didn't go through. (the one that did, I'm sorry, but it was obvious they made two mistakes that were pretty strong).
can I just say... they did a full out on the FIRST day of learning this routine, had 3 practises before the went on national television. this is absolutely phenomenal!

This is allstar cheer, it's competitive cheerleading, a real sport. It was a phenomenal routine. You should look them up at worlds, and Top Gun Large Coed and Senior Elite. This is real cheerleading.

I feel like they weren’t judge correctly, similarly to gymnastics a lot of cheerleading skills that aren’t meant to look way easier then they are, and judges at competition know what it takes, but these judges have no idea what they just witnessed was literally one of the hardest routines in all star cheerleading history, multiple flyerovers, so many baskets, A DOUBLE BACKFLIP like how’re you better check them eyes hun.
Love them and I love the representation that they bring with them 🥺💙🖤 Their routine was AMAZING and as a cheerleader myself I can say that that routine was EXTREMELY DIFFICULT!! They DEFINITELY stepped it up from last time, which was ALREADY GREAT 😍😍 SHOW THE WORLD HOW GOOD YOU ARE AND SHOW THE WORLD THAT CHEER IS A SPORT, YOU’VE GOT THIS WILDCATS!! 🖤💙🖤
Is howie blind like- their last routine was literally like level 6 with a few level 7 baskets thrown in but this was a full level 7 (plus somethings you can’t even do in all star cheer as a whole!) and he didn’t see the improvement
fr they created level 8 just for this routine and if howie was rlly interested in all star like he said he was when judging their first performance he would’ve known that this is wayy harder

I’m no cheerleading expert but this was amazing & considering everyone was wearing masks (breathing must’ve been difficult 😷), what they did was dynamite 🔥🧨🧨🧨🔥. Howie is CLEARLY having a bad day with so many negative comments for a number of the acts & I LOVED how Sofia “stuck it” to him right at the end..... GO SOFIA!!! 🔥✊️😁🔥

The fact that they did this with masks on is amazing, I am a former all star cheerleader and in those 2 minutes and 30secs you are out of breath and I wasn’t even at their level.
Can’t believe they made those kids wear masks. I imagine this routine was already soul crushingly exhausting can’t imagine a mask.

I know it's just a TV show but the intro still annoyed me, who out there is saying cheerleaders aren't athletes? Espn has been running cheerleadering competitions for years. Of course they are talented.

As a former competitive cheerleader it’s a pity that they have to wear masks during this. I know it’s for safety, and it’s stunning how they can put on a full performance with masks on, but one of the main parts of cheerleading is face expression, it really adds flavor to the routine. It’s alright though, they did amazing 😳 I adore the wildcats holyy

I wish in finals or in semi- finals they would show to us a level 6 routine (their routine is a coed elite a level 5 routine and level 6 is known to be coed priemier) that would literally a period period period!

dude has no idea what he’s talking about, a lot of the stuff they were doing in that routine aren’t even legal to compete what??!!
There was a lot of flipping in this routine and less height acrobatics and death-defying drops like in their audition. I agree though with Sofia V that what they do isn't easy and requires hard training,but they need to step it up imo.
They where literary doing a 3 high stunt, double tuck basket and other elements that aren't even allowed in all star cheer and tumbling is a big part of a cheer routine. Their last performance was a level 6 routine, with some level 7 baskets but also level 5 elements. So I don't now what you just watched, and maybe it's because this time their baskets and pyramid elements weren't highlighting by making it a slowmo, but they definitely stept it up.

@@RotisserieiJamie Well some people's opinions are just objectively wrong. Per example that they refer to as the "death defying drop" is a skill many cheerleaders with 2-3 years of training can do (maybe not as well executed but still). It was just made more impressive than it really is with the slow mo (the camera work really was bad on this new performance). Meanwhile, what they did in this one is so dangerous the federation straight up banned many of these skills from any competition (including worlds). In terms of difficulty comparison, this routine is to the rest of the cheer industry what Simone Biles is to elite gymnastics.

this is way harder than v unbeatable. it adds tumbling (which v unbeatable don’t do), technique, strength (yes, because they don’t lift 12 year old little boys, they lift WOMEN). watch v unbeatable, they can’t even do a double back tuck basket or tumbling pass. they can’t do a double pike front flip from prep level- and kneeling on top of that. you have no idea what you’re talking about and it shows.

Well i appreciate their talent...but they r more of acrobats then dancing.If u have seen v unbeatable acts u would have noticed that all the acrobatics were in the back and the dance was always going in front but wild cats they just did the acrobatics to 95% and dance to 5%.
So i hope they gonna add more dancing in their next acts.
That's because cheerleading is not dance
they do tumbling, stunts and some dancing, their tumbling is more impressive then v unbeatable and stunts go each way between these 2 these stunts are so hard and this tumbling is especially SO HARD

Is it a million dollar act? Talented and athletic but there are thousands of groups that cheer out there.
do you see the blue banners up there? that's all the times they've won the world championship... take it from me because I go to a rival gym of theirs, they are the epitome of the best of the best
this team competes with skills lower than these. the skills that they performed is wayyyy harder and they deserve the recognition. i think seeing something other than singers is so refreshing.
