I don't think Messi had the privilege like you're trying to say, he came from a poor family, had a dwarfism condition, and his family couldn't afford the drugs needed. Barcelona saw he was talented and offered to cater for his medication, on the condition that he joins their academy. So having to rise from medication and also playing and still doing great things also shows his hardwork, save for the talent
