I have fond memories of riding in my friend's mom's then-new blue '94 Limited back in 2nd and 3rd grade. I remember his sister always messing with the adjustable brightness on the passenger side vanity mirror. These cars will always have a special place in my heart.
Just bought a 94 Limited for 650 and drove it home today in 2022, I laughed all the way home, pretty well stole it, does the same job of a modern one, if not better, easy to fix, and thousands upon thousands less to purchase/insure/maintain
No monitor? No mouse to change menus with? No digital display gauges? Yeah, that's a real vehicle, not a f....n computer with wheels. Man, I miss the 90s...
Well, I bought my ZJ in 1996 (5.2 V8 version) and I'm still driving it to this day. As new cars get dumber and dumber, and the infrastructure where I live deteriorates, I want to keep it even more. (The Jeep in this video seems to wash itself however, and I haven't found that button yet.)
Bought 2 zj,s for $600 mind you it's 2021, one has a blown engine and the other runs but was totaled in accident. Great winter project for my son and I.
I ordered the VHS tape from Jeep in 1992 and thought it represented a breakthough vehicle. Jeep has always had great marketing. Thank you for publishing the video.
@@JasnoGT The engine head might crack soon. Sorry for the bad news, but those latest inline 6 engines, Chrystler managed to f....k up too. You have to go 1998 or earlier.
I got a 95 zj and bought my girl a 97 zj. They've been reliable, durable and comfortable. Mine needed a new engine but other then that, everythings been small and minor repairs.

I had 2 1997 ZJ TSi's. Both were black, loved them. Now I have an 03 WJ currently at 329,000 miles - 4.0 in all 3. Life is good, I drive a Jeep!
WOW!! An 03 with that many miles? You're lucky man! The last year of the great jeeps was 1998,
The birth of a legend. Way ahead its competitors. Interior design and materials awesome and still ahead of 99% of the silly cars around us.
Well done AMC! It wouldn't have been possible without you!

Yup, I feel the same way about my 1999 XJ!
@@derevoikamen I think that was a great choice. I've sold my ZJ since this post too.

Wow I've never seen this. I'm thinking of selling my '98 one but this makes me think twice.
Rick James don't do it! I got a 98 ZJ and I bought it just for winter. Guess what? I drive it more than my car 😂 love it!
I too have a 98 ZJ. Its a little rough but I cant seem to part with it.
93 zj keep it goin man dont give up
I have a 98 Limited. I love it.
Amazing video.
*WTF I want a Jeep now!*
Oh wait I have one with 271,000 miles on it.
My 97 has 350k 2019😆
My 93 4x4 Jeep bought brand new 157,000 and still going, won't sell it.
I’ve got a 94 with 350k
@@JacobEcret damn this is an old comment. It's at 295k now. Still going strong, still leaking oil. XD

An impressively cinematic production. I like the Vangelis-ish outro music.
do you know the name please..?

I like ZJs so much that I'm gonna sell my WJ and buy ZJ! :-)
I know the feeling I have a Cherokee with 257000 miles on it and right now I drive it everyday. 130 miles a day
@@sheltonsingletary2488 I bought turbo diesel XJ. I find nice one and I love it!
This is a very good promotional video of the Cherokee. I want to go buy one now but bet they are mostly all gone now due to rust and neglect !
gotta look for them there out there and rust free
Sandra Elander your lucky ! A true icon of the 90's !
+Sandra Elander I have a 2004. The last year of that 4.0 motor. Only 103k miles:)
mine has 0 rust

Amazingly well done. Fond memories of this exact GC but in white.
They were ahead if their time.. Chrysler was always groundbreaking..
Damn the regret I have for selling mine..
This was beautiful, I'm crying 😢🇺🇸
don't you cry tonight
Back when auto manufacturers cared about their product and made a whole video to market one of them.
These Jeeps and the Ford Explorer were everywhere in the 90s and 00s. Still see well warn versions rolling around on the daily.
Cash for clunkers did a number on them sadly
@@gary0228 yep, the #1 traded in vehicle during cash for clunkers were explorers, especially 2nd gens.
Hello from Brazil :)
1993 was the only year they offered this truck with the same drive train as the XJ Cherokee with inline 4.o L and AW-4 Automatic.
Don't forget about the AX-15 5-speed!
Otherwise I kinda think of them as V8 XJs
Still the best 4 x 4 of its time in the World at none. Still better than most of the crap on sale today. ❤
👏👍🇧🇷 Jeep GrandCherokee/Chrysler.
Wow... Never seen this Demo Before! It is... Soooo... Beautiful!!! I love mah ZJ too. :D
I had a '94... loved it. I now have an '02. Thanks for the upload! (:
I had a lifted '98 4.0 242 Laredo, took me half a million on and off road miles to kill it.
Now I baby my stock low mileage '95 4.0 242 Laredo 😂
Love my 93 ZJ
Mine I bought it in 2021
I had a '93 now have a 2000 it's even better if that is possible...
I cried 😂😂
JEEP CULT for life ✌🦆

I'm guessing this was filmed in the fall of 1991, but where?
Why would it be 1991?
@@YoucanonacanonAnd why are you even asking that question? It's probably correct.
They forgot to mention the gas tanks blow up on rear end impact...

These are the ugliest jeeps ever
