Verses 14-16 reflected upon me today. Made me think of how a lot of young men in my neighborhood resorted to making “fast cash”. One of them in particular came to mind. He was the most successful of them all but he never used this wealth to enhance his life or the ones around him, he gave it back to materialistic things such as cars, drugs alcohol and sex. He showcased this on social media heavily and I believe he found security in his money and his status. He thought he was untouchable. Just as he stole money, his life was stolen and he had just welcomed a baby into the world. He didn’t even get to see her first birthday
" Money can provide a false sense of security. Money will then become your idol if you are not careful. God is your fortress and provider, not MONEY!" We don't even realize how our minds switch from God to money. We don't even realize how we are starting to worship money more than God. It happens so fast and becomes a sense of security and becomes something that we only work for. We have to start acknowledging God in everything that we do. Pry over the job and the money that we make, so we know and will always remember who are Father is.
verse 20 stood out to me, since what we say is from the heart. That verse brought me back to the verse that saids, "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." I tend to say things that i may not have meant, but reality i did meant it because my heart has filth in it. Im glad God brought conviction to me to repent for my heart and words. i appreciate Proverbs 10 and ofc God for opening my eyes to this particular verse.

Thank you for enduring although you may be tired . The real and raw is what draws us . As Colossians3:23 helps you to get through your days and keeps you going , I would like to remind you of Isaiah40:31 because he shall renew your strength. Love 🤍
My favorite verse in this chapter is verse 1 as well. I'm a role model to many, siblings and younger cousins. So, I want to make sure I'm doing good works for the Lord, having a good heart posture. Great study!
Let's goooo! Day 10, Proverbs 10! So many verses stood out to me, particularly verse 28. The godly put their hope in God, and the result is happiness. It echoes Romans 5:5, And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
I say Is up verse five. I have been telling my teens to out eork other works at there job. They will get rewarded for it. This is a big part of that mind set.
