Visited on June 23 this year. I Took the Silapathar route to Aalo and the road is in good condition even after Aalo till some 100km towards mechuka the road is good with few bad patches in between, But around Tato village till Mechuka which is around 50km distance the road condition is very bad. Still you'll encounter many local people ride/drive their vehicles around despite the road conditions. Mid-August might be a good time, the greenery will still be present with less chances of heavy rain and landslides. Wish you a safe journey 🤟
@@yunarz5665 Thanks a lot for the elaborate reply. I will probably take the Pasighat-Aalo road instead of Silapathar-Basar-Aalo one as locals from Aalo informed that Pasighat-Aalo road is better. Thanks for your good wishes. Keep riding and stay safe.
Yes I visited during the month of June as well, just look out for bad weather. Price I would say is quite affordable should run you about 1400 to 2000 for a room with 2 bed. Unfortunately I don’t have contact of the Homestays but it’s quite easy to find there are many homestays available and during summer months there’s not that many tourists there so it shouldn’t be a problem .
@@mitdas_17 I would suggest Mechuka it’s heavenly there, tall mountains, plateau like beautiful landscape, especially during summer with all the greenery, just heaven l❣️🌥️ And it won’t take that many days to explore too maximum 2/3 days but reaching there is a bit dangerous during rainy season so watch out for the weather. Other than that if you have the budget you could also visit Ziro first then go to Mechuka or do it the other way too both are great locations. Safe trip man !✌️
During summer time around August/September for Greenery after any possibility of heavy rainfall is clear or during winter times to see snowfall and some awesome festivals. ❤️ nov -march
