So, I plan to go to Chili bowl in 2026, I plan to run mod sprint, and sc bmod. I’ve ran all traxxas cars, I’ve tried a different car with my AFX, and didn’t like it, so I’m wanting to keep the traxxas cars, so how should I set them up for a track like that. I don’t have a big enough track to match it to Tulsa, so how would I go about doing that (it’s josh)
Talking about sc mods but theyre not even a class this year. 😢 Biggest thing for tech is don't take it too seriously the first time going through tech for practice. The tech guys are good humored and have done it enough over the years and theyre just there to let you know whether or not your car passes. They will give you every opportunity to correct whatever it is and they'll let you know what to expect. The only thing that will FLAT OUT DQ you is battery voltage. 8.49 and below, you get an opportunity to run it down while standing in line. 8.50 or above and you're DQ'ed for that round. If there's ANYTHING you have questions on in your program, go up and ask them early or ask a fellow racer.
Thank you will be fun event
Love all the episodes but definitely love the Dirt Oval talk the most !! Much appreciate what you guys do for the RC industry

Soften the car up. If you can run a loose dirt track near you, usually softening the car is best!
@ gotcha it’s currently at 40wt, so drop it down to 30wt if possible
@ maybe only change the right front. And see how it handles. Usually a pound lighter springs and raise the rear ride heights so you get a good roll.
@ gotcha I’ll try it this weekend
How did you get the nickname Wild Thing?
You sir! This dude coined the name for me! Back in my softball days!
