For those who saw Band-Maid on their US tour, we can feel the love that went back and forth between the band and the audience. Previously I said the Dallas HoB show was the best and most fun show I have ever seen. Miku's reaction to the Say towels was priceless and I know she and the rest of the band were so touched. From what I understand the entire tour was filled with such moments. It is amazing they wrote this song during the tour at some point as a love letter to the fans. They really, really love their fans. Especially the people who came to see them at the live venue. They know very well that the Americas are many times larger than Japan. Japanese people can't help but respect those who make an effort.

The cut scenes were filmed about 90 minutes outside LA near Lancaster. It would have been during the days before the Palladium show. The weather matches up perfectly.
You are right. It is filled with (your) love. Pronouns, adjectives and conjunctions often are not reflected in translation. The line "Everyone knows wonderful world" is missing it's. That's a linguistic difficulty but the meaning is clear. For those of my generation l have seen this relationship at this level between band and fans really only once before. The Grateful Dead and the Deadheads. The Deadheads would follow that band to hell and back. Jerry Garcia use to say we have the most forgiving fans in the world. The Dead had their Deadheads and Band-Maid has the Maidiacs. Why? Because with both the true fans saw and experienced something way above just the music. It was a way of life and l see it becoming very much so with Band-Maid. BTW the Mohave never looked better. Simply because Miku was strolling through. Miku was about 70 miles from LA and fairly close to where the hottest temperature ever recorded on planet earth occurred. Love these women.
Very much a companion to About Us. This is a relief to be playing in front of live audiences in the US. I did mention somewhere else that I can't remember a relationship between a band and fans quite like Band Maid. They are very appreciative of the support and the fans are very protective of the Band. This doesn't mean slagging off other bands. But young and old seem to 'get it'. The music becomes an experience as much as just listening to a song. Rock or ballad, slow or fast. They don't over do the instrumentation but the more you listen there more layers you can uncover. A great musical work. Although having poor old Miku living in an old piano and busking her way across the desert seemed harsh.
Blame the Clam Chowder. It's not good for a little pigeon. After she broke wind for the 810th time they threw her off the tour bus. They gave her Kanami's piano to hitch with to slow her down. She still beat them to New York, she is after all an 'expert tourist'!
What will be probably an enduring Memorable thing is how much a musical group has captivated people in ways so loving and wonderful, worldwide. Band-Maid has worked their magic on just about everyone who has discovered this very rare jewel, Band-Maid always pleases, never disappoints, sincere to their fans, showing feelings openly, spreading good feelings....and even thanking the fans in a beautiful and loving manner. many reaction peeps have let down their guard and shown emotion viewing this masterpiece...
I feel like it's a follow up of About us, the first love letter to the fans where they missed us and now that they started touring again they give us a second love letter where they say how happy they were to see us and to see how we missed them
Thank you for the review and welcome back! Edit: I just want to add that after listening to this when it premiered, I wound up going back and listening to About Us. Probably spent an hour listening to both songs, but hey who's keeping track.
Thanks Champ. You said it. This band will never know who I am, and they will never know the impact they have had on my life. The lyrics are defintely written with the fans in mind. Kanami wrote the song during the U.S. tour. The desert scene was filmed in SoCal during The Last Rockstars tour. All the feels for this one. 😭
Thanks for the great comments, Champ. You articulated my thoughts about Kanami's solo perfectly. God knows I could listen to the creative licks that she writes all day, but it seems like in Memorable she really wanted a more focused solo, a short but gorgeous feature that doesn't interrupt the balladic vibe for very long.

Champ, I've watched your reactions since your first-time hearing DOMINATION (mv), and I will always look forward to what you have to say about music (BAND-MAID in particular). Thank you for his heartfelt reaction to MEMORABLE.
"with love" and "with your love" were caused by the difference between Japanese and English languages...probably🤔 I'm sure that Miku and Saiki wrote the lyrics in Japanese and then translated into English. So my guess of the original Japanese lyrics are "kokoro ga ai de mitasarete iru no wo kangiru" (心が愛で満たされているのを感じる), and the direct translation of these are "feel heart is filled with love". I'm pretty sure that they even didn't have "I" (="watashi"="私") in the Japanese lyrics. In Japanese, "personal pronoun” is often omitted when it is clear from the context. When they worked on the English translation, they put "I" and "my" but forgot to put "your"...shirankedoh😏
Good job, Champ! Your explanations were helpful and on point. I hope the members feel the love from us. They'd be cynical people indeed if they didn't have some emotional reaction during the US tour. Crowds at show after show shouted out their love to them. It's a sweet song and performed emotionally. "Keep it simple, girls.", Kanami showing restraint in her writing, maybe this is what it was like in her singer/songwriter days. (Those videos _must_ surface some day!) Thank you, sir. P.S. Ryan made me tear up but I kept it together during your reaction as heartfelt as it was.
I love the song but found the video odd that it featured Miku so much. Then Saiki posted on IG about the video and said it's their 10th year, and it all started with one little lamb. They love each other as much as they love their fans.

The solo in Daydreaming was an explosion of the emotional sequence, this one maintains the preceding emotion. However, I do wish it could've gone on for a couple more bars. Just wanted that emotional statement to go for just a little bit more. But, it's their choice to make, not mine. In the end, another great song.
Thank you for sharing this Champ. What absolutely gorgeous cinematography in the desert and what heartfelt lyrics. They really convey the relationship that they have with their fans - not just what we feel about them, but what they feel about us. This song doesn't have to show off their musicality to punch us in the feels (even though their skill does shine through anyway). I especially enjoyed the inclusion of the acoustic guitar as part of the sound. That Miku was played it was very neat as well.
I also feel connected to this Band Best Band i discovered the Last 10 years. They are like this Generations Beatles or Led Zepplin to me I Love Band Maid for soo many Reasons. They have great Personalities, They are Like Family, They are able to Play pretty much EVERY Genre of Rock and Metal. and last but not least they are beautiful. Oh and they are very very good musicians.
I don't think she sings as the translation say, "You love me!", but "You loved me!", like she was loved in the gig last night. There are more strange things in the subs. And btw, I also hear "Your love".
I'm in love with Akane's drumming leading to, and during the guitar solo. They don't do it often, so I'm happy Memorable is another song where an acoustic guitar is used. Now joining: Anemone, Page, At the Drop of a Hat
muji" is not just the name of a chain of Japanese shops;----- it means "plain" ! There's a special reverence in Japan for things that are just "plain". No frills, nothing spectacular, nothing added at all----just plain----with a simple presence all its own. -------------This is what BandMaid gets across here. The polar opposite of glam, hype, melodrama, sophistry, pretension....etc................................. Miku gets it. She really gets it .
Love is the most powerful force on this old planet. I believe this incredible group of musicians have tapped into that power and we can feel and hear that. Apparently they feel that love reflected back. That's a hellavu feedback loop!
This is an incredible "Thank You" song from the band. I'm really losing count of how much I have to turn my head for a few moments or wipe away the tears when I listen to it. Thanks for sharing your reaction Champ, spot on! Much Respect homie!🤘
Awesome song. And dammit, the desert, I recognize it, joshua trees and the mountains I know where that location is, bandmaid was less than 10 miles from my house and I didnt know it.
Saike had me ugly crying when she sang "You wove me" and "We both surwender"🥲❤️. Which makes me wove them even more. Great analysis Champ. I agree with you completely. You probably know that the lyrics are co-written by Sieke and Miku. To me, that alone makes it less likely to be a conventional love song.
the lyrics were written by kanami this time. its a love letter from her to saiki.... kidding. youre right in what its about hehe. I'm sure band maid knows you guys, chase and we know from the concert they know Mr rock n roll
THIS HAS in my opinion the Best accoustic guitar Sound that Band Maid ever had. and Some of Saiki s best Singing But i also Love Miku here when she goes THIS TIIIME
Great reaction...now, back to Extraordinary Attorney Woo reactions. Not hate, big BAND-MAIDIAC here...but Woo to the Young to the Woo? Glad you're feeling better.
I think as far as a band that "does things they don't have to do" (great statement btw) with respect to their fans, I've never come across one like Band-Maid. They're just so fucking open-hearted. I defy anyone to remain mean around them.
You know what...all of my comments are trying to evade the feelings BAND-MAID has for their fans. If a US band did it, everyone would say, "Oh, Bullshit!" ...but this is BAND-MAID, the band that also gave us "About Us."
For the record, it is Miku who wrote the lyrics of this song for the fans, but it is Saiki who gave them passion and meaning by the way she sang it. Not to leave out the trio, who tweaked the music until it matched the message.
Couple of errors in the subtitles? The "...your smile" that you noticed Champ, and surely the last line is "....our world" not '....a world' ?? Lyrically 'our' makes much more sense. Am I crazy?
I've never felt this way about a band before. Is it weird that I'm so incredibly proud of them all?

They really convey the relationship that they have with their fans - not just what we feel about them, but what they feel about us. This song doesn't have to show off their musicality to punch us in the feels (even though their skill does shine through anyway). I especially enjoyed the inclusion of the acoustic guitar as part of the sound. That Miku was played it was very neat as well.
I also feel connected to this Band Best Band i discovered the Last 10 years.
They are like this Generations Beatles or Led Zepplin to me
I Love Band Maid for soo many Reasons.
I think the last line makes more sense as and sounds more like "our world" than "a world", but maybe "a world" is the actual lyric.
This is such a fantastic song. Just a mellow vibe that just hits you right in your soul.
Especially enjoyed this reaction. 🤘
I'm in love with Akane's drumming leading to, and during the guitar solo.
They don't do it often, so I'm happy Memorable is another song where an acoustic guitar is used. Now joining: Anemone, Page, At the Drop of a Hat
Thank you. I think you not only got the song intent right, you felt it. Good job bro.
Champ you are one of the reason they enjoy playing in the US.
muji" is not just the name of a chain of Japanese shops;----- it means "plain" !
Please note how the UA-cam censors hate my comments---(always kill any upticks !)..it's a compliment, I guess .....
Wonderful.
This song managed to make me tear up. They are amazing.
Brilliant analysis and totally agree with you, Champ. Yeah!!
Awesome song. And dammit, the desert, I recognize it, joshua trees and the mountains I know where that location is, bandmaid was less than 10 miles from my house and I didnt know it.
Awesome, very well said! Great song and great reaction. Thanks.
Champ you articulate yourself very well at how explaining and relating to Band Maid's songs. I always look forward to your reactions.
Only Miku would wear 3" heels in the desert. 🙂
just like ABOUT US. Get out the tissues. I love these ladies.
the lyrics were written by kanami this time. its a love letter from her to saiki.... kidding. youre right in what its about hehe. I'm sure band maid knows you guys, chase and we know from the concert they know Mr rock n roll
good speech. the song is more feeling than music
THIS HAS in my opinion the Best accoustic guitar Sound that Band Maid ever had. and Some of Saiki s best Singing
But i also Love Miku here when she goes THIS TIIIME
Great reaction...now, back to Extraordinary Attorney Woo reactions. Not hate, big BAND-MAIDIAC here...but Woo to the Young to the Woo? Glad you're feeling better.
I think as far as a band that "does things they don't have to do" (great statement btw) with respect to their fans, I've never come across one like Band-Maid. They're just so fucking open-hearted. I defy anyone to remain mean around them.
Daydreamin's solo feels
Then I want you to listen to Judy and Mari's lover soul
Thanks Champ!
You know what...all of my comments are trying to evade the feelings BAND-MAID has for their fans. If a US band did it, everyone would say, "Oh, Bullshit!" ...but this is BAND-MAID, the band that also gave us "About Us."
awesome stuff
Ryan was near to tears.
Thanks so much nice reaction.!
Band-Maid = Happiness💓.
love letter to fans.
Say good things.
Welcome back, Champ! ;-)
Nailed it, Champ. 🤘
This song is written by Kanami for audience.
For the record, it is Miku who wrote the lyrics of this song for the fans, but it is Saiki who gave them passion and meaning by the way she sang it. Not to leave out the trio, who tweaked the music until it matched the message.
this made me think of the guitars in master of puppets
If i was able to compose music Like Kanami i would ve started the guitar Solo at 9:16, But Who am i to question Kanamis Songwriting genius ?
They're special.
MISA!!! MISA!!! MISA!!! 🥃🥃🥃
Saiki is really starting to learn how to "sing" English. By that I mean she is learning how to stretch runs over words across several notes.
MISA MISA MISA!!!!!
Couple of errors in the subtitles? The "...your smile" that you noticed Champ, and surely the last line is "....our world" not '....a world' ?? Lyrically 'our' makes much more sense. Am I crazy?
Yep, I agree she says "our world" meaning the Maid's and the Master's & Princesses' world.
@@lordvorador5735 Exactly.
This is Daydreaming 2.0 but less Bass Heavy
Joshua Tree in California.
I felt like some of the vocal runs were a nod to American R&B music, another way of saying "thank you."
....I feel connectet to the band as much as I feel connectet to you and other good reaction channels from the start. Is that wired? guess not.
