2020 and I still coming back here to remeber all the experiences that I have been goind through over 5-6 years with this beautifull masterpiece always in my playlist, every time that I come back it feels like the first time, thank you @ElfamosoDemon, greetings from Colombia, you are awesome!
@@Afuro-Ougi2 It's technically just lo-fi hip hop, but it's a part of what was called the beat-scene, that was an underground movement in the early to mid 2010's. It kind of stemmed from producers carrying on the style that producers like Madlib, J. Dilla (RIP), and Nujabes (RIP) had. Guys like Mndsgn, Knxledge, Flamingosis, KVZE (now known as Straagne), Kaytradamus (who is now Kaytranada), Luviia, Ohbliv, beatboxbandit & The Stuyvesants just to name a few were some of the pioneers of this scene, and all of them are basically legends now. Some of them even went on to produce for big artists, Knxledge actually produced for Kendrick on TPAB. While guys like Kaytradamus became a huge mainstream artist. However, it's kind of past its glory days now, and never really caught on with the mainstream like people had hoped for, or at least I had hoped for. The scene is well past its prime now and got overshadowed by SoundCloud rap genres like plugg, trap metal, emo rap and rage. Back from like 2011-2016, beat-scene producers were pumping out crazy beats and tapes what felt like daily. Felt like you could log on at anytime to soundcloud/bandcamp and find a new release from somebody. ElFamosoDemon, DeadDigitizer, Orion Bojangles (most of his channel got scrubbed) and GodsConnect are some of the oldest youtubers to upload these producers beats with these retro throwback edits, and they are just as important to the scene as the producers themselves were. It was a good thing to witness, but all good things come to an end.
@@Afuro-Ougi2 Yeah sorry for giving you an answer a year later lol. I still think this scene could take off, if a rapper made his/her whole style around it and had catchy/poppy hooks and what not. They can't approach it the typical lyrical/miracle way, they would have to bring some melody into it. still hoping for the day lol.
Could someone the name of the anime in this video? P.S. You should put names of the animes in your description. I am sure a lot of people, myself included, would appreciate that.
As I grow older I appreciate this channel more and more, keep in the chills man

This is an under-rated masterpiece. For 5 years I have come back and it feels like the first time, everytime.
The Mighty Gooch same, underrated song and genre
@@timpeiffer8504 What genre would this be part of? The only one i can think of is futurefunk but that’s a bit too fast.

@@theflipper404 You a real one for the info bro. Thanks
