@Ride and Fun Just a quick search it looks like they made this style machine until 2015 and then they did make the alterra 1000 in 2016 for a few years. So they are out there.
I just bought a 2010 thunder cat with 1500 miles in Manitoba. $5000. Seen the ad just after it was posted, contacted the guy right away said I would meet him the next day. After we made the deal he said there was over a dozen guys that contacted him after me. It was cheap enough it made me wonder if it was a scam or not

Thats a smoking deal for a 1000cc 2up with power steering and that trailer. When these came out I was like no way the first 1000cc and artic cat made it. Back in the day the big dog was the 600 grizzly only knew it would be a matter of time with the 650 prairie 700 sportsman ect. I'm not a fan of those tires. We call them plug lites. Had a Rincon I would beat on and do "extreme" woods riding with racing buddies. That thing had mud lites with probably 5-9 plugs in each tire with a few hundred miles. As far as artic cat my neighbor had the one with the bed instead of a rear rack. I never really even looked at them much. Seems like dealers are few and far between around here. They always seemed kind of odd to me. But then again their controls ext seem like polaris which are odd to most people.
@Motofarm mx It really is a good deal, I’m pretty sure it will be gone by this weekend. A 1000 in any atv is a beast, personally I think a 700cc engine is more than most people will actually use.. I’m surprised to hear that about the mudlights.. There a 6 ply tire you wouldn’t think they would be easily punctured.
@@rockspowersports for sure. I've never ridden a 1000cc atv i don't believe. 700 is the biggest i think? But I agree. With 1000 cc comes more weight and centrifugal force. That stuff plays into handling. A lot of people don't realize they would be faster thru a trail on a 500 than a 1000.
I have a 2013 TRV. Great rig! Do you know where to get the after market front & rear bumpers for them or a part #. @@rockspowersports to many people are concerned with top speed when you rarely ride there anyway. My Teryx4 tops out at 50 but has the power where I want it, turns 30x10x14's like nothing and gets me through those deep holes.
Yeah the high speed stuff is silly for an ATV no idea why anyone is even concerned with it. These things aren't designed for cruising down the highway. They're for off road purposes. What good does a 65+ MPH top speed do for you when the same machine struggles to propel itself at times to 1 MPH in rough terrain.
