    I lived in Charleston for years. Gentrification has been a real problem in this city and I can see it's happening in these neighborhoods. Soon the current residents will be forced from their homes with nowhere to go because affordable housing is nonexistent in Charleston. The housing projects create a firewall against gentrification because demolishing them would create a nightmare for politicians and developers.

      dsr they even started throwing black folks out of Hanahan, The whole city has always been kind of racist to me mainly because it's mostly military folks by downtown Charleston. A lot of people I stayed down there with have mostly congregated to goose Creek

      Like most locals that encounter so called "outsiders" they will not speak to you in their real accent and or dialect . They will mainly speak with your with the more formal/proper version of the language, doesn't matter if it's English or any other language. I'm a middle aged African-American man from Greenville (upstate) SC and while visiting Charleston that was exactly what I experienced. For instance, I'd go to a store then while waiting in the check-out line some of the locals would have small-talk with the cashier in their so-called geechie/gullah dialect or accent. When I would get to the cashier they would always switch to speak with me in a normal/proper English accent. I assume they just knew that I wasn't from the area so they automatically switched accents. I wasn't offended in any way but I just assumed that I wouldn't "stick-out" from the crowd so to speak.

    Деревянные столбы это нормально?

    • @OlenPietarissa
      @OlenPietarissa 4 роки тому

      Для экологии - это плохо, т.к. вырубаются деревья. Для электрических компаний - интересно, т.к. деревянные столбы дешевле, чем бетонные. Американцев, если нет проблем с законом, экология не интересует. Особенно если можно сэкономить.

    My friend I tell you the truth from my mouth the Guardians you can't blame anyone for our an ability to work with one another who told you that you was not beautiful who told you that you was not a blessing or curse my friend I want you to know that no matter where your situation is no matter where you at in life you are a blessing to the almighty he paid a calls for you and I to be free so therefore act accordingly walk accordingly and do what you want to do our ancestors made some bad decisions by staying in Egypt you don't have to be a Roman to be in Egypt you don't have to adhere to the Roman Empire for God told Moses stretch forth your hand and I will give you a way out I will split the Red Sea so your people from pharaoh but our ancestors deserted God and said no they say they go give us 40 acres and a mule so we'll stay here God said as you wish that is yours your will not the wheel of those and not the will of your predecessors nor the will of the kids that you about The Offspring but your will so you can stay but they will be wanting to go and that is why we don't get along because of the division between our ancestors and our predecessors those was the people that wanted us to go and make our own man and learn our own language and learn who we are instead of learning who the slavemaster want us to be because everything you're doing in this country just laid Master taught you even how to migrate
