Hiking - Washington's Goat Rocks Wilderness - Goat Lake / Snowgrass Flats Loop

In today's video, I bring you along with me on one of the more beautiful hikes I have done. This trip starts in the Goat Rocks Wilderness at the Goat Ridge trailhead. From there we head up Goat Ridge a ways before making the side trip out to Goat Peak where we enjoy some fabulous views.
Leaving Goat Peak, we continue on up the Goat Ridge trail eventually taking a side trail out to Hawkeye Point for one of the most amazing 360 views I have found here. From there we drop back down and into the Goat Lake basin where I finally find some of my fellow goats!!!
After enjoying some time at Goat Lake, we then head over to and through a section of Snowgrass Flats before hopping onto the Snowgrass trail and making our way back to the parking lot.

Mr.Goat I'm a flatlander and live in the Tampa area. I'll be 76 this year. I just recently subscribed and thoroughly enjoy the Vids. You are a very blessed man. What was the date of this hike? Late July?

You inspired us to hike this last year. We tried twice but failed and only got to the falls.
We will attempt it again in two months (hopefully). Will you be so kind to help us accomplish this?
May you please give some tips on where to car camp and which trail to take? (We are not backpackers and just beginning to try car camping just to do this hike) please help. Thank you.
