What you'd end up having is a playoff that features IMG that recruits across the nation and teams that reside in states where you can transfer for athletic reasons like Florida and California. It will feature schools that are stacked with recruits (IMG) or transfers (MD, SJB, STA), but it would be sweet to watch.
It was a great game that could have gone either way. The IMG run game was so dominant throughout the entire game. MD made the plays when they counted and stayed disciplined whereas IMG had two ejections which I sill feel bad for the kids kicked out of the game. Two great schools fighting hard and it will probably be the last time we ever see this matchup.
This video is a classic. The music and production was great and the talent on both teams was insane.

It looked as if Mater Dei was just picking IMG apart with long drives where as IMG was scoring on big plays.
Man neither one of these teams should count as high school football. You have actual high schools in LA and Miami that competes at an extremely high level and they can only get players within a 10 block radius. These private high schools out here giving scholarships to players just so they can play football. Game was entertaining though.

This just proves that Mater Dei Football is the best in the country.
I was at the game and it was lit. Let me say this first last year if they played MD would have won by 30 it would have been over at halftime. This game was pretty even. IMG has the worst offensive staff in high school history they run 3 to 4 plays. #6 is the best running back MD has ever played he is a NFL talent. The lines were even MD had a better secondary but its probably the best in the country. If they play 10 times MD would win 6 or 7. If you saw the game I was in the front row they could not stop MD offense but they kept getting behind the sticks with penalties. #42 the monster rush end got neutralized, MD is missing their 6'2 4 star receiver that is a deep threat that comes back next week but would have made it hard to play a safety on top of Bru. They are missing their 5 star 6'3 250 pound outside linebacker who told me he might be back for playoffs and still won. If you stop #6 you stop IMG period but he is a handful. I don't want to hear shit about any team beating a Cali team STFU. IMG was winning by 3 with 3 minutes left MD marched down 80 yards with Bryce going 6 for 6 on the final drive and running it in on a read option. Thank you for coming good night. I know its a lot of gold teeth and dreads in shock right now in the south but you just lost to the defending National Champions second place ain't that bad. LMAO! WESTCOAST THE BEST COAST!
