Thanks Tim. It's hard work but it really is fascinating. I see guitars in everything I mill. It's like being a kid and daydreaming...except for the machinery that can maim you. 😁 More to come, please check them out. All the best to you!

I found your site while killing time while a patient at our V.A. Hospital.
I was looking for information about the quality of the wood of Thorny Honey Locust tree.
I have some of it's wood that I have made a walking stick out of, and another nice piece that's going to be a Long Bow after it dries out.
I was told by someone that Honey Locust is hard, but brittle. Do you find it's wood brittle?
I've made one walking stick from it, and love it's color, straightness of it's grain, and how light weight it is.
I apologize for being long winded, but have had no luck finding an answer.
Have a great day, and year.

Hi madogmedic. I'm sorry but I can't speak from the carpentry side. I mill to set specs and leave the rest to the artisans. I am surprised to hear you say the wood is light. I find it comparably heavy. Best of luck and thank you for watching!

Thank you Hardcore. It's all good...live and learn. When you've got "skin in the game" those are the lessons that stick. I won't do that again! :-) Cheers.

@@deorotonewoodmill I like how you included it in the video though, made it real and more interesting. Very cool stuff, I've never seen this kind of video before. Hope you continue

Thanks Hardcoria. I made the video based on how I wished the videos I watched were structured. Trim the fat, highlight the wood grain. I left the mistakes in because I hope that someone will learn from my mistakes and save themselves those troubles. I'm so glad you watched. Thank you! Many more videos of this format to come. :-) All the best to you.
